I'm definitely on the Biyombo bandwagon. He's penciled in at 18 on the Draft Express mock, if we could land him with the Memphis pick I'd have a Ronzone.

We'll not pick up another PF. Kahn doesn't want to get hated on even more.

Everybody is turning crazy with this guy, but he still is a untested player. The team who picks him must wait 2-3 years at least.

Physically, he is a beast !!

BTW, He has NBA buyout in his contract, but his current club doesn't believe he will has a offer this summer.

I'm with you. Draft him and let him develop in Spain.

His current team is pissed with him, because he started to play this season when Batista went to Baskonia, and he abandoned his club for play that tournament in Portland.

His contract lets him do it, but the club thinks this clause was for LEB league (second team). This sounds a new saga like Rubio at 2009 summer. It would be good he could find a big ACB team, EL level, for play two years.

EDIT : I'm watching Real Madrid-Power Elec, tronics, and is playing Mirotic, anothet interesting player, PF, 20 years, 6.10, 14# Draft

Biyombo is 100% a center prospect.

DraftExpress Jonathan Givony
If ESPN had a camera at this scrimmage, Bismack Biyombo 's blocks and dunks would make up half of Sportcenter's Top-10 plays tonight.

People scratched their heads when I put Bismack Biyombo in our top-20 in January. Now the talk around Portland is he's a lottery pick

His second coach last season said in a interview that Biyombo has a good 12 ft shot, he likes the contact, and he has a special body, with a big arms wingspan, short neck and little head, then his hands can be more hight than everybody thinks. He is a calm person with a big ethic of work. And his age is real, because he comes from a family with money and his papers are more trustable.

Well how does a draft of Irving and Biyombo sound? :D

If we could land Barnes and Biyombo in the draft I'd be really happy. If Biyombo's stock continues to rise and he's slated as a late lottery pick, I'd like to see us try to move up to get him. He sounds like the exact type of player we need. If we did need to move up, I'd be open to using Pek to make that happen, as Biyombo would ideally get Pek's minutes anyways.

If we could then somehow trade for Varejao and Barbosa while keeping Love, Rubio, Ridnour, Wes, Webster, Randolph, Darko I guess, and Tolly if possible, I think we'd improve a lot.

Rubio(28)/Ridnour(20)
Barbosa(27)/Wes(21)
Barnes(25)/Webster(17)/Randolph(6)
Love(35)/Randolph(10)/Tolly(3)
Varejao(28)/Biyombo(20)/Randolph....Darko....oops..

Dang, minutes would be super crunched at the 4 and 5. As much as I love Tolly, if we were able to get Biyombo and Varejao while holding onto Randolph, I guess I would be wiling to move Tolly to make that happen. Of course I would also be open to moving Darko, but I don't know if that is even an option.

For minutes purposes, I wish Webster was a more natural 2 and Randolph could play a lot of minutes at 3, because if that were the case I would even be willing to move Wes to make these moves happen and create a rotation more like this:

Rubio(28)/Ridnour(20)
Barbosa(27)/Webster(21)
Barnes(25)/Randolph(23)
Love(35)/Tolly(13)
Varejao(28)/Biyombo(20)/Darko(?)

I don't know, I'm just brainstorming out loud....

It sounds great. Honestly, I don't know a lot about Biyombo (or anything, really), but I'd like to invest in a project center that has a good work ethic and body. He sounds like the best of the bunch.

His favorite players are Love and Garnett. How good is that??

Yeah, I don't know that much about him either, saw a couple youtube clips, but from what we are hearing he sounds like a physical freak with a non-stop motor and unrivaled defensive passion. That combination sounds like exactly what this team needs. Even if he is unpolished on the offensive end, it sounds like he takes it very strong to the rack and dunks violently whenever possible. How nice would that be after all these 4" Darko finger-rolls that always seem to rim out?

I'm liking the looks of this Bismack Biyombo. Long, athletic, defends, box out, snatch Off. & Def. Rebounds. Project player but wouldn't mind grabbing him with our MEM pick.

7'7 wingspan and 9'3 standing reach. Less than 5% body fat too. Wow.

Biyombo: ¿Qué es Minnesota? Oh, es ese lugar del Ártico, de ninguna manera estoy jugando al baloncesto allí.

I've seen enough. Draft him #3, after Irving, Barnes.

Poor boy, first the tropical Congo, then the dessert of Yemen, now the sunny Madrid and finally the frozen tundra.
