I listened to the whole thing and I loved his takes. He believes that Randle is a better player than KAT. I'm not fully on board with that, but Randle, DDV and Beringer would have been enough for me to pack KAT's bags and drive him to the airport. We are close to winning it all. Let's don't screw it up.

He is our GM.....just not our top decision-maker.

The only thing that's changed since last year is that we now drafted Beringer.

If you think he is the difference maker in his first year for us beating the Thunder, I'm not quite sure you saw what happened that series.

Our chances get lower every year barring us actually getting a PG and or a real second star.

You do this every year and get over hyped only to make some random excuse as to why we didn't win it all.

Just listen to the music man.

I didn't think his shooting was being disregarded. I think it was mostly about switching things up to avoid becoming one-dimensional. Especially during times when you NEED a tough basket.

The PnR can be easier to guard in those moments and ppl just want to see Ant succeed in those moments. Work in the post more, come off screens to catch n shoot or playmake. Not just DHO into a PnR. I think Ant getting off ball more through out the game would help him and the team tremendously. Although Finch would have to be consistent with the play calls to reinforce this change and build trust with the others.

We beat OKC by 40 one of those games. We could beat them in a full series. It's possible.

Great and then we lost all the others by 20. The other thing is OKC can and probably will get significantly better with all of the assets they have. If Giannis or Joker actually want out I see the thunder as the top landing spot just due to sheer asset size.

They just don't have to do anything till then and they'll be golden.

No argument that OKC is looking good. They'll be the favorite to win next season. How often do favorites actually win the title. Not that often. That's why the games are played.

The only way I think the wolves take the next step is by raising the overall iq of the team. This includes coaches and players. Until that happens, they’re not winning.

Iq is the main reason for the 4-1 losses in the wcf both years.

Is Joe Connelly Tim's brother? Yep.

Yes, Tim Connelly and Joe Connelly are brothers. Tim Connelly is the President of Basketball Operations for the Minnesota Timberwolves, and Joe Connelly is the Director of Scouting for the same team. They are two of five brothers in the Connelly family, all of whom work in basketball.

Nepotism.

Non-story. He's mostly worked with Tim since the two of them were in Washington together.

All 4 of Tim's brothers work as scouts or managers in the NBA or college basketball. Its in the blood.

I had no clue that Tim had any other family working in basketball until I saw the post here about Joe's promotion. It's not necessarily a bad thing. Joe could be great at his job. Isn't it nepotism though? Or does that only apply when it's your children?
