KWSN clearly has the knowledge advantage in this case. I think we can all agree on this.

Seems like you guys don't want to believe him just you don't like what he has to say. I prefer to listen to him and soak up the new info.

I'll assume you're being sarcastic. Or ridiculous. Either way, not funny.

All trolls have big ears and long noses, and bushy tails. Trolls are night creatures. They do not like the sunlight. They can live much longer than humans. Another super-human feat is that they can make themselves invisible.

I see no mention of humor in that description so I don't know what you were expecting..

He knows the budgets, he knows spending habits, he knows in-depth details of the top leagues in Europe. Why is it that everyone is trying to discredit him, especially as he is the one writing the long posts that answer questions succinctly and specifically?

That Dejan guy is framing 'yes or no' questions based around his opinion, the other guy with the agent contacts is lumping all of European basketball into one group (which is obviously folly), and the rest of you guys seem to not have anything to say at all except to refuse to concede that you are being out-argued on a topic that you know much less about than your debate opponent.

I'm not saying that we should take KWSN's word as Gospel, but he is much more of an authority on this than anyone else here and perhaps on RealGM. If he says something, I'd listen to it with an open mind rather than reject it because it conflicts with my original opinion based on a lack of knowledge.

Sad how you fail to discuss any points I make, but only refer to me as a troll in an effort to make my words not worth listening to. If you really want to discredit me, then make my words impotent via reasonable counterpoints. Name calling just reflects poorly upon you and nobody else.

Seems more like a Euroleague homer than anything to me. He sometimes has good posts/info, but I find it hilarious and sad when he tries to lecture me on teams that pay me for info.

Trolls words are not worth listening to. So you pretty much discredit yourself.

Why don't you and KWSN take your conversation elsewhere..

He says he knows a great number of things. And then never manages to support his statements with anything other than another opinion statement or arrogant platitude. It would also help if he didn't make incredibly stupid and ignorant comments about subjects such as Race. Let's just say that taking what he says with a grain of salt isn't quite sufficient seasoning.

If he is making this stuff up, I tip my cap to him for having such a strong imagination. But it seems pretty detailed and he seems pretty dang knowledgeable about the topic. I see no reason to doubt him.

Just because he isn't providing a link every time he makes a point doesn't make him wrong. I find what he is saying to be completely credible and I haven't seen anything to make me believe otherwise. Can you provide some reasons why his points should be considered to be untrue? Thats all that really matters.

We're just throwing words back and forth in an attempt to establish logic. So throw some superior words out there which bring the argument back to your side. If you can't, dont try to character assassinate your opponent. Just admit that he knows more and learn from him.

Wasn't this thread supposed to be about Rubio and not the budget of European teams? :P

Rubio hasn't managed to reduce his buyout so far, it looks like he will negotiate next year after dropping the legal actions (required requisite to negotiate by DKV).

Better luck next time, Rubio! At least he will have training time to improve his shot now that he has finished HS.

Well, you hit the jackpot: the guy has a very strong imagination.

He claims to have a 197 IQ: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=908342&start=30

Has repeatedly stated that Rubio had a net 600,000 euro salary this season, and the reality is that it was less than half that amount: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=871380&start=30

Or that Rubio's buyout during the season was 6 million euro (it was 4.7 until July the 1st, 5.7 afterwards): viewtopic.php?f=3&t=899304&start=90 (he also claims in this thread that Olympiacos was willing to pay 15 million euros to Joventut for Rubio).

Whatever happened with the 17 million euro offer from Real Madrid that he posted in this very same thread a few days ago? Crap again.

And this is only referred to Rubio.

The worst thing you could do is to consider him credible at all, because despite his strong talking, you will come up completely misinformed. He loves to pretend that he knows everything.

There's something that puzzles me, though. I've read you in the draft forum, in the very same threads this guy posted his crap. How come you still haven't been able to figure out that his opinions are worthless?

Oh, and budgets in Europe (generally speaking, and there are bunches of teams with higher payrolls than some Euroleague ones) are going down for sure. His list of Euroleague teams is treaky. Seven of those teams weren't in the Euroleague last season, so obviously their budgets will likely go up. Many others' are questionable whether they will go up or down, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't have clue (except for the most obvious ones, such as Real Madrid going up or CSKA going down).

That's actually the issue: you can't trust a word of what he says. He might appear to be right when you don't know much about the issue, but he tries to sell guesses for facts at an incredible rate.

Not only you have a 197 IQ but, do you also have magic powers? It's pretty amazing that you can read my posts while having me on your ignore list. Definitely my hero.

Don't know about realgm policy anyway. I only know you've been banned from different forums (including this one) multiple times.
