Ummm don't look now but Krap's bandwagonhas brought McCollum to #8 on DX's rankings and Mock. There's still room if you want to get on Klomp.

I will say this. Watched some highlights, and he's better than I originally thought. Still don't want him at 9 though.

Word on the street is Marcus Smart is having second thoughts about pulling his name out of draft. Don't be shocked if he changes his mind.

Can we send our other pick(#26) to the Suns to pay our draft pick obligation to them. I just don't like the idea of giving them what probably be a better pick in a better draft next summer. This Wes Johnson trade looks like a turd in hindsight especially if AK opts out and leaves. I mean if we can pive them #26 then it's not that big of a deal but giving them a potentially good pick next summer would be a sad turn of events.

Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA 5m
Potential lottery pick Alex Len of Maryland had surgery to stabilize stress fracture in his ankle and will be out 4-6 months, his agent says. Len, a 7-footer, must go into June draft without benefit of pre-draft workouts. The tough part is "the timing," agent Mike Lelchitski said. Tough blow for Alex Len. A lot of lottery teams intrigued with 7-footer; will be intriguing to see which might still draft him so high.

This might turn out to help him if teams are looking at this similar to the Noel situation.
But if it doesn't it hurts our chance at getting a nice player at 9. alot of mocks had him going top 10

Flip says we need more shooters. McCollum.

No, but the pick is lottery protected.

I was just thinking...it's a lock who will be representing us at the lottery now after today's news. It's on ESPN, after all...

Kahn strikes again!

Flip seems like the type of guy who trade the pick.
I'm leaning on taking Caldwell-pope right now. He fits the bill for what we need right now at SG.

I'm thinking the hate on Zeller has gone too far. I don't love him, but he's a solid get at 9.

I just don't see a quality NBA caliber player. 7'0 center that plays more like a PF with no inside game. He doesn't play physical, doesn't have any post moves, no baby hook, he's always getting his shots blocked, and he's been exposed when playing against powerful front lines (Mich St./Wisc/Minn).

Flip Saunders said he'd take Oladipo 1st overall a couple months ago on ESPN... Maybe we'll trade up.

Allen Crabbe at 26? Decent size for a SG, career 38% 3pt shooter with legit NBA range.
Thriving on mediocrity since '89.
