That is the only thing that makes sense. Rosas couldn't have been stupid enough to go into that meeting without cap space arranged.

You're probably in the 10 percentile.

I dont think rosas is the one to blame. He didnt give all those dumb contracts. Whats he supposed to do? We all know it was a challenge moving them.

How long have you been a Wolves fan? It is entirely possible Rosas is that stupid.

I won't believe this until I see it reported by somebody with a better rep than Trevor Booker.

Nah, I think you keep selling while you think there’s a chance. This meeting might be embarrassing but it will be forgotten. I can’t blame the guy for trying.

I'm not happy, but I'm not too sad. Depends on what the price would have been. Teague is serviceable for this year. What about after this year. Culver might have to be our PG because Teague, Rose and Tyus could all be gone.

And another thing, players use teams to drive up there value too. Russell chose the Warriors without taking a visit. No way that came together that quick. I believe the wheels to GSW were already in motion even when Russell agreed to meet with the Wolves brass.

The only part I am upset about is actually having faith that the tides may have been turning. If I am not mistaken, Rosas never made promises about making a big free agent splash did he?

So if this is part of the Kevin Durant signing then it must have all been worked out days ago. I gotta think Durant knew whether he was getting an 8% raise max or a 5% raise max.

We were the person that got the date just to make the other guy jealous.

Rosa's learning the true meaning of what it means to apart of this organization. Cold hard lessons. Get used to it Gershon XD

His own fault. Never should have met with Russell without having the cap space in his pocket. :banghead:

Why does that bother you?

Because it is Junior high level thinking. Things happen fast in Free Agency. I posted this before, but here goes again.

Rosas: Dlo we really like your game and want you on our team.
Dlo: Great I would love to join you and play with my BFF KAT
Rosas: Just one little tiny insignificant thing. We don't have the money to pay you so we need you to just wait around until we can figure out a way to get it.
Dlo: Dialing the phone. Ring/Ring Warriors you know I think I would like to join you after all. Can you pay me.
Warriors: Iggy pack your bags...………..

Say what you will about Russell, but one of the smartest franchises trading a valuable player for them and a future first with minimal protections for the right to pay Russell the max, tells me that Rosas was barking up the right tree.

I think we will be better. What useful player did we lose? Gibson. That is compensated for by the addition of Culver, Okogie and KBD improvement, and hopefully being more healthy.

Just having roco freaking healthy will make them better.

+ Culver. We could well be better than last year if the young fella pans out and Teague stays healthy. We need a PF, though; but I don't think it'll be too hard to find one. I can see KBD growing into the role.

The “logic and reason” if this is actually true, which I don’t believe still makes them look bad.
