Airbnb might be a good option, too. Don't know what meals cost in the TC these days, probably around $30 with a couple drinks? Guess it depends on where you eat.

Uff da. That sounds more expensive than Australia. Oh boy. I guess I need to save a lot money then.

Thanks for any help, guys!

If you're not renting a car, you'll need to stay in either downtown or out by the "Mall of America" on the light rail line;
http://bit.ly/1jeckuK
usually rooms are available downtown with various deals for $100. If you're renting a car, you can grab a cheap, and boring, room in Roseville (or any suburb) for $60, about 5 miles from target Center. If you have a car, and want to stay in downtown Minneapolis, be aware that many hotels may want to charge you $20 to $40, a day, to park it in their lot, nobody else does that...

2 or 3 beers and a burger may run you $15 some places, and $30 others. It depends where you go, and when. These guys make excellent pizza,and are 2 blocks from Target Center, their menu;

This pub is across the street;

If you do have a car, you are better off going to a neighborhood restaurant instead of eating downtown. A few I like ;-)

Parking downtown Minneapolis is $6 in several ramps, in the evenings, you don't want to park there in the day ($20 +++). Downtown Saint Paul, and most other areas, are essentially free.

Also planning a trip over from Australia this year, there's a run of home games in March (I'm pretty sure) where we play 5 times in 10 days I think, will likely try to fit in there.

EDIT: Cheers to Saltine for the above post as that will help me also.

This different from the 508, where Tyus had his draft party?

You are doing yourself a disservice if you don't go to Cossettas in St. Paul and eat at Louis on the top floor. Mama C's Spaghetti with Meatball. :nod:

Then get the gelato on the first floor inside the grocery area.

You can thank me later.

I have only been to Murray's in Minneapolis twice, but they have baked hash browns with bacon bit, and cheese there that is really good, but that place can be expensive. That was a cheaper option though and very very good.

Huberts inside the Target Center isn't bad either and it is convenient. The Loon is down the street from Target Center and has some really good appetizers. Their chipotle peach dip that comes with their fries is good, and the chips and cheese are good too.

My first instinct was "pssh, I can make hash browns" but then I remembered how much of a pain in the ass it is. Peel potatoes, pull out the grater, try not to grate your fingers, rinse them, then go through a whole rigmarole process of drying them out so that they'll turn out crispy.

Oh boy, I completely forgot I had asked you guys for advice here. Some really great info here you guys brought out. Thanks a ton!

Although, as of right now, it doesn't look that promising for me to go to the States next Spring. Lack of money and vacation days are the main issues right now.

Got some good news. Apparently my wife picked up on my hints because I think I'm getting a KAT jersey for Christmas. I just wish they offered them as a throwback.

Also let me just check the weather in Brisbane. Not too bad right now actually. I thought I could make a point by saying it's way too hot for me but your current weather doesn't look too bad.

I just found out that I either paid for a League Pass subscription that I didn't use for at least 18 months or that the NBA has secretly gained access to my account information. Either way, I'm pissed. And obviously it's LP Premium. Damn.

On the plus side, I was about to get a new subscription and I didn't think I'd remember my old account name. I just randomly guessed what my username. Turns out it was correct and they told me I already have a subscription. Otherwise I would have bought another one and paid for two.
