I had to go with washing machine. Dryers always shrink my clothes, at least when my wife uses them. Hmmm, maybe the dryer isn't the problem after all. Maybe it's my wife. Come to think of it she uses the washing machine before the dryer so maybe it's the washing machine thats shrinking my clothes. Or maybe it's both of them. I hate both machines. Leave my clothes alone! I don't want to have to buy new clothes all the time. I hate buying new clothes. You have to go into those stupid fitting rooms where you feel like someone is going to peak under the door and see you in your underwear. Who came up with that dumb idea anyway? It sure wasn't me. I'd never think of something dumb like that. I think of smart things. Like automatically-fitted clothes so you never have to use those stupid fitting rooms. And clothes that never get dirty so you don't have to use those stupid machines. And blowup dolls so you don't have to get married. And telecommuting so you don't have to get dressed to go to work. Then you just have to buy one set of clothes and that set would last you forever. Unless you are a slave to fashion. I hate fashion. Fashion is dumb. They have all those anorexic teenage girls prancing around on stage wearing stupid-looking clothes. Who wants to be a slave to that? Not me. I want to buy one set of clothes and be done with. Move on to other things. Life is too short for clothes shopping and clothes washing and clothes drying.

It's about time someone got this board back on track. There's been far too much off-topic basketball related crap lately.

Washing Machine hands down. imagine if you had to walk down to the river once a week and wash your clothes by hand. ask C.Lupus. he should know how it was back in the days.

Easily the washer. Can you think of any other way to wash clothes that doesn't require physical labor? I mean you could throw the clothes in water with soap but you'd have to rub the soap in and wash it all out too. Drying however you just have to hang up the clothes and the wind/air does the work for you. Or, if that's even too much work you can just leave the clothes sitting on the ground and eventually they will be dry. Wrinkly yes, but dry as well. Washers are the far more useful machine.

The dryer didn't dry my pants. I've got semi-wet pants.

That's why the washer is great. It destroys evidence.
