This trade got some positive feedback, and I found it interesting, though I'm not a fan of Jeff Green myself.

Yes ... I'm not a big Jeff Green fan either but at least he'd be an easily-moved asset

I'd do it if Rambis would commit to a Green/Randolph/Love front line, but he'd probably put Green at PF or make Love the 6th man or something I wouldn't like.

I don't hate it but it doesn't thrill me. Not really a fan of Green on this team. Any way we could tweak it to get GSW's pick instead of Randolph? Something based on Jefferson and Green to GSW, Beans to OKC, and GS pick to MIN? Jefferson and Randolph could look very nice together.

I like it, I don't think it's the greatest deal. Probably because I'm not a high on Randolph as others (think Green is better than what we have at SF, for what that's worth). I like the extra cap room and filling holes part a lot.

I'm okay with it but I'd like to see who is there at 16..

I like it. Green's versatility would be a nice fit in the triangle as would Randolph's I guess and both could fit in well with a running team. Like the others I'd probably want a fair idea of who would be available with that 16 pick as there's always a chance someone good can fall, but judging from comments from the front office this is the type of move they'd do; one that keeps cap flexibility while adding players that are athletic, fit into a running team and can have both an impact now and potential to improve in the future.

Yeah, I'd be more interested in GSW's pick as well. Change Randolph to that and Green to Ibaka and I'd be down. Unfortunately, GSW giving up their pick seems unlikely.

No way OKC entertains this. Biedrins makes too much, Green is more valuable to them, large part of their team chemistry and success this year.

I think there will be a good wing available at 16, I'd rather take that player than have to pay green next year.

GSW are getting too much value. Al=Biedrins+Randolph. Biedrins value has fallen off of a cliff after this season.

Agreed. Green is playing the Pippen role next to Durant, or will grow into it as time passes. Chemistry and defense are a huge part of OKC's success this year.

I think they'll see after their playoff appearance the need to add a Biendris-type player, but not at the cost of Green.

For the Wolves - I love the idea of pairing young, athletic forwards with Darko and Love. Add a real perimeter threat in Turner, and that's a winning combination.

They need a bigger longer PF than Green and his poor 3 point shot this year negates the potential advantage of having a guy like him at the 4. Only reason to keep him is if they project Durant as a full time PF in the near future. Otherwise they shouldn't trade him just to trade him, but they should be on the lookout for an upgrade and IMO this is the year to do it with this draft having nice PF options for them. If I'm OKC I see about getting into the top 11 or 12 w/ Green + their own pick. And he's too stiff to play a Pippen role, Pippen was uniquely agile for his size/length. (hawt)

Well....GSW would not consider this. At best, Al Jeff is a PF who scores + Boards inside and does not run all that well,defend or pass. Biedrins (23) and Randolph(19) have a DECADE of future providing rebounding,defense,and good mobility. were GSW inclined to do a slower half court style, or were GSW short on shooters and scorers.....they ALMOST would do this...but then....Biedrins + AR have their original knees and GSW will be wary of trading for any high $ guy with a history of knee problems. They had to play with half a team as it was.

Biedrins' injury certainly resulted in a poor year, but that's been repaired. GSW has NEED for REBOUNDS and D...and Biedrins does both very well with a good contract and a bright future. He's actually younger than our D league rookies. Were Al Jeff the complete player we'd need....the Wolves would not trade him.

Trading within the West, GSW has to look at what teams can be dangerous competition in 2014 when our youth is ripe and the usual contenders are old or already in rebuild. OKC and Portland,are scary. The Wolves can be...but really need more DEFENSE. Biedrins and or Randolph gives the Wolves too much upgrade on D,too much added mobility. Likewise,we would be damn fools to send Biedrins to OKC . We'd be nuts to hook up Portland with a young PG or a healthy C. We'd be nuts to help the Spurs or Suns get younger.

For GSW the main deal is to add some MORE defense+Reb to the mix. We've been scoring plenty using just half the rotation. Without Biedrins and AR, however,We've had games of -15,-25 rebounds or gave up big points to average big men. What GSW needs is pretty obvious.
