Maybe he shouldn't even be second team... He got lucky, IMO...

I'm super happy that he got the honor.

Now let's trade his a$$ immediately while he has some worth.

I'm expecting Johnny to still improve a lot. I think his value is only going to go up and i think eventually he will fit with what we want to do. He's shown he can hit the 3 ball and his defense and decision making will come around.

I also think Johnny deserved it.

His per 36 numbers of 16.8 and 5.5 are not too shabby.

Compare Casspi -- 14.8 and 6.5

And Lawson -- 14.8 and 5.6

You kidding me? 17 points and 5 assist is nothing to sneeze at for a rookie. This year just had an incredible rookie class. In Marko's first season here h was like 14 and 4. Sam Cassell's second year numbers here were similar.Flynn did a good job as a rook. Not great but it wasn't bad or anything to be scoffed at.

Congrats to Jonny, I really believe he would've looked much better in a different system. Hopefully this season helped him become more well rounded, and next season we'll see a much improved player (weather he is here or not)

Well deserved. I don't think he's out of place in a line-up with Thornton and Jerebko. Not a lot of those rookies had to deal with the pressure of starting from game one, and changing their game the way Jonny did.
