Who will win the NBA title?
As some of you may know, I am a Magic fan, but I am asking this question on every teams board (except the teams still in the playoffs) just to get a view of how everyone else feels about the playoffs. Sort of for like personal research type of deal. Provide an explanation if possible.
Thx,

assuming the cavs beat the celtics, the conference championships + finals are gonna be very fun to watch this year. orlando and phoenix look like they hit stride at the right time. you cant argue against kobe and phil, or lebron either.
i think it will be cleveland vs. la... cleveland in 7... lebron gets his first ring.

I hope Orlando, Boston or Cleveland will win.
As long as the Lakers don't win it I don't care who wins it
I'll say Boston wins it one more time.

I voted for Boston, but I'll say whoever wins the Boston Cleveland series will win it all.

Lakers. The extra length they have in the post is so valuable, and they're usually at their best when it comes down to game 6 or 7 of a series. Having Kobe in the clutch isn't a bad asset either.

I hope Lakers for two reasons : first, I'm a Gasol fan, and two, then we could see the first intercontinental game between the NBA and Euroleague champions the next Oct,7 in Barcelona.

Re: Who will win the NBA title?
that would be really cool, Lakers vs Barcelona if the Lakers win the chip. Flynn vs Rubio would've been cool too, but probably for the best they didn't put the Wolves in a position to disgrace themselves

^Flynn vs. Rubio will happen, assuming Flynn is still with the Wolves next preseason:

As to this year's title - I think the winner of the Boston/Cleveland series wins it all. Orlando relies too much on Vince Carter (or will when they're through playing the East's JV) and the Lakers don't have the consistency or 2008 Kobe anymore.

Re: Who will win the NBA title?
I'd bet on the Lakers. They can match up with any team left and they have the easiest rode to the Finals. Orlando/Cavs may very well go 7 games and who knows who's going to win that series.

Re: Who will win the NBA title?
I'm hoping its one of Phoenix and whoever wins the Cavs/Celtics. I don't want to see a Lakers/Magic finals again, and am hoping that the Lakers don't win the most.

Re: Who will win the NBA title?
PHX would be so cool, but I'm not optimistic that it will even come close to happening.
I hope Lebron get's his this year. ORL isn't that amazing of a team, they are just a matchup nightmare for pretty much everyone. ORL has height, speed, defense, and the 3 ball. If any one of those qualities are compromised, I don't think they will win in a 7 game series.
Also, BOS getting the 4 seed really threw a wrench in the East. How does CLE have to go through CHI and BOS, while ORL gets CHA and ATL??? Tough break for the top seed.
