The Minnesota Timberwolves have hired former Detroit Pistons executive Tony Ronzone as assistant general manager/player personnel.

Ronzone spent nine years with the Pistons in a variety of roles. He is well-respected as an international talent evaluator. He is the director of international player personnel for Team USA basketball.

Timberwolves president David Kahn says he believes Ronzone also has a firm handle on NBA and college players in the United States.
