No. Turner is gonna play in that Sixers uniform. Iggy will be out the door.

I wouldn't wager on that.

I posted this in the other thread, but maybe using Rev's earlier thread as an idea --

Dalembert + Turner for Cousins + Ellington

We basically use all our cap space to absorb Dalembert's last year. We could also take Kapono and Green.

It's a shot. Depends how much the Sixers want to save money. I would expect them to try to make us take Brand.

I wish. It's not gonna happen tho. They will trade Iggy like I said. Only way they would consider trading that pick is to move Brand. We will have to hope that Favors falls, if not Wesley Johnson will be on our team.... :nonono:

Jumping to 1 pushed Philly into the luxury tax, but the only way they trade out of 2 is if they fall in love with Cousins or Favors.

The gap between Johnson and Turner is not so wide we need to cripple our franchise by sending out a young asset in Jefferson for the worst contract in the league.

Johnson may actually fit better with Rubio than Turner because he is a much better outside shooter and explosive finisher.

Yea, fit=Johnson by far, but not sure about Talent.

Brewer + Turner would be the worst combination of wing handles in the NBA. Not good for running the triangle offense.

To be fair, the pinch post movement does have some handling, but it is mostly movement and passing.

They would be horrible at the handles and we would rely more on Flynn's P/R and the high post passing of Darko/Love.

A Johnson/Flynn P/R sounds nice.

Johnson isn't going to be setting picks anytime soon. He's Brewer skinny.

He is not that skinny,

but I never said he would be setting picks.

I thought it had been established that Flynn is actually not very good at P/R?

I would not make drastic assumptions after his rookie year. I think we are bi-polar in our view of Jonny, but I think he is decent at the P/R once he has better shooters and learns a floater.

Regardless, Rubio can P/R.

Synergy has him at .77 PPP, which is middle of the pack amongst the rookie PGs. Lower than Beaubois, Lawson, Douglas, Evans, Maynor with the Thunder and Curry, slightly lower than Holiday, slightly higher than Jennings, solidly higher than Collison, Teague and Maynor with the Jazz. The statistic is far from perfect, but I think it is the same stat used to establish Flynn as not being very good at P/R earlier.
