Turner: What would it take?

The question now is how much would it take to get Turner from Philly and would it be worth. They will take him for sure, because, even if they weren't into him, the wolves' obvious rock hard wand for 21 ensures it. Because of their personnel I think it would be possible to get him, but no doubt we would have to way overpay. How much would you be willing to pay? Hopefully someone has a genius idea, maybe involving trades with other teams for things philly would want.

Max for me:

#4+#16+flynn. I doubt they take it.

About anything outside of Rubio(who they don't need). From the reports people are saying we really want Turner, and I think we're still going to get him. Probably getting another high pick and packaging them for him.

Kahn simply has to arrange for the Sixers GM to wake up next to a horse's head.

I think it takes Love + 4. Love would have to be shipped to Golden State or Sacramento, and we could then offer 5/6 + 4 for 2. Philli could grab Cousins and Johnson.

Every time I see a thread from PHTown, I think it's a Philadelphia 76ers fan.

I know moss_is_one's official title is "pro prospect", but what will the title change to after he makes his 994th post?

I think it either takes a 4 + Love or Jefferson for 2 + Brand or more likely shipping Love or Jefferson for another top 7 pick and packaging the two picks for Philly's pick.

I just can't see them taking 4/16/23 and Flynn or Pek. I'd love to make either of those deals but I just don't see it.

It was a horrible reference to Wolves2011's 994th thread. I have failed, so we will never speak of it again.

It is in reference to my MN expat cities of Portland and Houston. I realized it might be confusing after I made it. I hoped the Sessions avatar would clear up the confusion. At least for wolves fans. I guess not.

Lets have just one thread to discuss trading up, how much it takes, what we give up, what else we want, making mock trades, etc.

What about we do something like this, it will still allow us to grab another medium level free agent:
PHILI:
Gets: Love, Gomes, Brewer, 4th
Gives: Iguodala, 2nd pick
MINN:
Gets: Iguodola
Give: Love, Gomes, Brewer, 2nd (possibly throw 2nd rounders/ 23rd)

WHY 76er's: They drop about another 5 million in cap space + the pick difference and after they don't resign gomes. They can still get Johnson or Cousins. They add Brewer and Love who are still young. I understand they still have Speights, Brand and Dalembert but this still is an upgrade or we throw in Flynn instead of Love.

WHY Twolves: Still have about 9 million in cap space giver or take. They get Tuner to play the 3 and Iguodala at the 2. We can still add someone from free agency. And even if we give up Flynn Rubio is coming over.

PG: Sessions/ Rubio/ (flynn)
SG: Iguadala/ (George or Henry)/ Ellington
SF: Evans/ Free agent
PF: Jefferson/ (Love)/ Pekovic
C: Milicic/ Hollins

It gets us a solid starting line up but a little weak up front

Al Jefferson+Sessions+#16 for #2 + Brand

I don't offer anything else over this. They switch an overpaid Brand for a "worth his value" Jefferson. Sessions is their backup point guard for the next few years behind Holiday and the #16 pick an be used to help solidify any position they want it too.

I liked turner as much as you guys, but I don't want to break the bank for him when there are still plenty of good options left at the #4 spot.

I posted this elsewhere since Im not sure where to put it but its from our guy and Im just passing info along for those who dont go to our board - Im not trolling

"Bad rumors. Zero percent chance we trade with Minny. We want Turner as bad as Minny does. They would have to severely severely overwhelm us for us to even consider."

Or maybe it's a smokescreen by your GM trying to make Kahn to pull the trigger on crazy lopsided deal. At least that what a really shrewed GM would do. Why come out declaring stuff like that before the combine and workouts. Maybe Stefanski whats take advantage Kahn's effection with Turner and get great return.

Do you think PHI would consider #4 + #7, from the DET deal?
