Rome just said Kevin Love will be in studio tomorrow for the 3:30 show if anyone wants to tune in...

Would love to hear what Love has to say. Problem for me is, the only way I'd watch that show is if they actually set Jim Rome on fire. Hard to sell that as a series, though. It would have to be the same episode over and over.

they should do a running bit where at the end of every interview, the player tips the table over on Jim Rome Jim Everett style

Don't you mean Chris Everet style?

As much as I like Love, my dislike of Rome overwhelms it and I won't listen.
OK, I get the blatant attempt to be hip and edgy, and some people seem to like that. But man, there is something wrong with that guy in an interview. He starts off by saying some take of his own, which is often flattering, and then waits for the star to agree with him. Sometimes they don't. Then Rome immediately changes his position. After the interview, he has to tell everyone what a great interview it was, like he needs some sort of Stuart Smalley personal affirmation. And all the time, he's trying to sound like he's supercool! And what percentage of the minutes of his show is having callers come in and talk, and then spending just as long repeating what they just said?
If you're interviewing a guest, let him talk (are you listening Dan Barrerio?). Its not about you, or how smart or cool you want to be at your guest's expense.

^^^^^^^^^ I couldn't agree more...I absolutely don't listen unless our guys are on...and even then it's hard to watch....
Does anyone know where they put videos of the show online to watch cuz I won't be able to see it live? The Jim Rome show page doesn't update videos very often...even more reason to hate him.

Did he just freaking lie to us? At the start of the show he said he had some news on Brett Farve and it was MAJOR. Then the Farve segment comes up 10 minutes later and he says. "Brett Farve said, that the 2009 season was his best season ever." And that was it. WTH?

Just based on his face it looks like he might have trimmed some weight.

Love still believes that he and Al can play together.

Well I didn't catch the whole thing but I did catch the part where Kevin Love said he's ok with coming off the bench. He'd rather start but as long as he gets minutes and knows his role he's going to get the job done no matter what. Glad that got cleared up.

Didn't Kahn say that Rambis has been spending time with him? Maybe he's preparing him for that possibility.

Just more proof that his BBIQ isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Or maybe he and Al just really like each other and have possible delusions of grandeur. Dont they frequently play poker at Al house in Minneapolis or something. I am sure they had some crazy late night discussions over that.

Now you're making them sound like Pinky and the Brain... but since Al is the taller of the two, that would make him Pinky - and suddenly Love's BBIQ is right back at the top. Well played.

I also heard that Love stated he and Al work defensively because they both play like 7 footers, (something McHale told them I believe).
From what I've heard, it sounds like Love is willing to work hard, lose weight, improve, and be ready for his role next year. It also sounds like he thinks highly of himself and Al, a bit too highly for a 15 win team.

as long as his BBIQ > his BBQ this summer, that's what matters most.
on a side note, I could see Kevlar being on the show "Deadliest Catch."
For some reason he looks like a fisherman to me.
