MN drafts Cousins and Favors and Harris can be moved later w/ his relatively reasonable contract, in the meantime he's a very nice starting PG. Also, he's legit 6'3 w/ a 6'8 wingspan, might be able to pass him and Rubio off as a backcourt for the short term. NJ builds around a Lopez/Jefferson/Flynn trio and tons of cap space

NJ declines IMO.

I think NJ would be happy taking Favors or Cousins and shopping Harris themselves. Also if we are going to trade Big Al and Jonny shouldn't we try and get a stud wing instead of another big and another PG?

advantage for New Jersey is it frees up roughly 8 million if my estimations are correct, Big Al is still young and ready to burst from the seems w/ a huge season, and they get pretty good value for Harris considering he's coming off a pretty bad season. Flynn's a better shooter too and semi-local. There's no worries about their pick not developing or whatever, they already know Big Al is good.

I dunno, if some of our mods are to be believed, Al is worse than Darko...

The bottom line here is that it come down to the GM known as LeBron.

If he says, "I'll come to the Nets, but I don't want to wait around hoping some rookie will eventuall;y develop NBA game. Get me a player or some cap space to bring in one of my boys (elite free agents) and I'll come."

Favors would be on a plane out of town that evening.

Nets won't want to add a big contract before knowing where Amare, Boozer, Bosh, Joe Johnson go.

I'm probably the biggest fan around here of getting Cousins and Favors, but I'm guessing it would take at least Love + 16 to make it happen. I'd be absolutely okay with that (especially if we can still get Paul George), but I have a feeling that others here (Devilz) wouldn't be.

Really don't want to trade Al though. I would think Love + 16 + other stuff would get it done. If not, Nets clearly have their heart set on Favors.

I like this trade alot. but idk if NJ would do it. Harris is a stud, and we could do work with Love, Cousins, and Favors running the big men.
