Delonte West?

Is he a guy we should think about trading for?
Gomes/Ellington for West/Hickson
I thought hard about Pekovic, but I'm not sure he'd be one that Cleveland would give us as much as we'd ask for him.
For CLE: I think both Gomes and Ellington would do well in Cleveland, and could do so either with or without LeBron.
For MIN: More athleticism, more defense, and I think West would be a good one yr rental. I could see West easily playing PG in our system, and he can defend SGs if necessary.

Cavs fans will throw a fit about trading Hickson unless its for Bosh, Boozer, or Amare. Im not ready to give up on Ellington yet especially for West. I don't want him near the team. I'd rather see a Foye return than bringing West in. I wouldn't mind Hickson but again we would have a jam at PF.

The deal looks pretty bad for Cleveland.

I might be afraid he'd try to do Al or Love's moms.

Yea, West has a great skill-set if we wanna have a tradition triangle pg. (Although, I am not sure what kind of showtime guy he could be).
Problem is he has baggage.

He also arbitrarily refuses to fly and collects assault rifles.

Assault rifles are fun toys for mature people though. Don't see them being so much of a negative. It's fun to play with guns...responsibly.

Klomp, you managed to make a trade that Cleveland would never do cause they're not trading Karl Malone Jr, all the while bringing one of last players the Wolves should target here, Delonte "Crazy Train" West. People worry about Beasley? When West has to sit out a game due to injury, he doesn't wear a suit, he wears a straight-jacket.

Isn't CLE going to buy him out?

I think they'll use him as a trade asset and then the team he's traded to will probably buy him out.

I bet he doesn't play in the NBA next year, and certainly wouldn't want him on my fav team.

It's my understanding that his contract is partially guaranteed, so I don't know if they would even trade with us.

I'd trade Sessions for him w/o a moment's hesitation, that is the way in which I roll

How has no one mentioned that he LITTERALLY slept with LeBron James' Mother. Not just a rumor IMO.

Heard that, too.
And, ugh no.

Whoa, Gomes/Ellington for West/Hickson is loco. Hickson was ultimately the reason Cleveland didn't go through with the Amare trade and now he's a toss in for Ryan Gomes? IMO Gomes/Ellington wouldn't even be enough for West. There'd be no upside in that trade for Cleveland.
