Pretty sure something like this has been discussed and shot down. But anyways, far too expensive for the 2nd pick.

I think the core would be:
Flynn/Sessions
Turner/Kapono/Ellington
Brewer/Nocioni
Love/(Harrington - FA)
Milicic/Hawes/Pekovic
- Plus whoever we draft at 16.
We'd need to pick up a PF through the draft or free agency.
If we just do the first trade:
Flynn/Sessions
Brewer/Kapono/Ellington
Johnson/Nocioni/Brewer/16?
Love/Cousins/16?
Milicic/Hawes/Pekovic
I'd rather throw in Pekovic instead of the #23 or use Pekovic/16 or 16/23 to move down again in the draft. But I'm not oppposed to trading up to get Turner.

I'd have stopped after the first trade. Noc does nothing for me, but that's a cheap way to get the #5.
Pray that Favors drops to #4 instead of Cousins, draft Favors/Johnson and just run and dunk on everyone.

If the 6ers won't take 4+16 for 2, then we should stand pat. All of these other deals are too expensive.

It's actually better than Brand + 2 for Jefferson + 4, so it's not as bad as it looks.

It's better, but better then worse doesn't make it good.

If we can't get Turner, then I'm certainly in favor of Favors. He has the frame to develop into a beast and he already does things none of our bigs will ever do simply because of ability. I love Johnson's transition and ability to pull up for a sweet jumper. His defensive makeup appears like it would hold it's own with a year or two of added mass.
Turner would be a perfect fit with Rubio and Brewer, but I just don't see that we can make it fly.
Cousins ... meh ... I suppose that's who we'll end up with.
Wall
Turner
Favors
Cousins ... traded to ...

If we have the #4,5 pick...
Cousins/Favors and Johnson > Turner

After we get 5th pick
4+16 for 2
Pick Turner + Favors/Cousins/Johnson
sign Morrow, Gay, Milicic
PG-Flynn/Sessions/(Rubio)
SG-Turner/Morrow
SF-Gay/ Brewer
PF-Love/Hawes/Pekovic
C- Milicic/Cousins or Favors
Trade Nocioni for something

I agree that Cousins + Johnson > Turner
I still would like to trade up for Turner if the 5th pick isn't in play, but this would be pretty much the best we could do on draft day other than getting the 2 and keeping the 4 somehow.
