For the people who don't read Rube Chat, PA wrote this:
not ground-breaking but it will be favors or johnson if we keep the four. zilcho chance the select cousins. those opinions are 100 percent accurate. And count on wall one and turner two and there will be no change.
here's the bit ... i was sworn to secrecy by a very reliable source but there's going to be a story by a credible NBA writer for a major newspaper and supposedly very soon that will send your head spinning. if it plays out the way it was explained to me your wolves and one of the game's best will be tied together. if it doesn't hit the web within five days i will share said rumor, but until it goes public i cannot. hope you understand.
if and or when this story/rumor emerges my over-under for views of said thread on this page is 4,000. and that might be light.
off to the track.
So far he's confirmed it's not Bosh, Lebron, Wade, CP3, Joe Johnson, or Rudy Gay.

who else is there???? Maybe he means Pekovic signs... he is one of the "worlds" best if you don't count America.

I hope it is not Amare...he seems like the kind of guy Kahn would love to pair with DeRicky DeRubio
Perhaps this is linked to the rumor from DX about a big deal?
Interesting he didn't confirm if it was Kobe or not? I think Kobe may have missed Rambis more than anyone thought

1.) There's the buzz kill 2.) world's best & Wolves in the same sentience?? 3.) That leaves Amare in FA who is not world's best. 4.) I'm wondering if Melo may be available, DEN needs a big.

I doubt it's Amare. It sounds like Stoudemire signing with Miami is a done deal.

DX has already said that the Philly-Sac deal announced today is what they were talking about.

Thanks guys, that was the big deal...? I guess that was a bit dramatic on DX part
Keep in mind PA said nothing about it being a player...maybe that awesome mascot who does the craziest dunks (MIL?) is gonna sign with the wolves...or maybe we are getting like half of the Lakers dance team...Steve Kerr is being hired as 3pt shooting coach...or Kevin Harlan and Trent Tucker are coming back to do TV broadcasts of games.(ok that last one would be pretty awesome...
)

I'd love Trent and Kevin back together again but I think Harlan's ship has sailed. He has blown up too much to just be the Wolves announcer.

It has to be Amare. MAYBE Granger but those are the only guys I can see PA calling the world's best excluding those others.

Im telling you fellas that is has to be Melo or nothing. He's the one guy I could see coming here and that's even pushing it. DEN isn't going anywhere, the title run there is over, Billups isn't gonna stick around, Nene gets hurt, and K-Mart is K-Mart. They know they can't build around Melo anymore and need to start fresh with Lawson as their PG and need that franchise big. We can provide them with Cousins or Favors. I could totally see DEN cleaning out the house.

If it's not Rubio coming over a year early, I wonder if it's not a player at all. "Tied together" is kind of ambigious wording. Maybe something like Jerry West coming on as a consultant or Hubie Brown as an assistant coach.
