An NBA contact tells me #Twolves talking to Tor. about Bosh... have no idea if he is open to idea of coming here. It would be a sign-&-trade

Wasn't he "the man" in another cold city, on another losing team with Toronto? I don't see any incentive for him to come here.

It's closer to Texas.

He'll be a good fit after we add Carmelo Anthony.

I can think of three reasons. Calderon, Turkoglu, and Bargnani don't play for Minnesota.

My point is that by this time Bosh just wants to win. I'm guessing he's going to pair with another mega free agent so I'm just not seeing how we could possibly lure him here with scenarios like that available.

http://www.nba.com/2010/news/features/a ... ef:nbahpt1He wants to be the #1 and "forge his own identity apart from the star-studded field of peers also entering the open market".
With that - yeah theres a chance that he would say "Minnesota has a bright future and I can lead it". At the same time, he could say "Why the **** would I ever play for Minnesota?"
Hope it's the former...

Just take 35 South all the way down
Anyways if we can get Bosh for Big Al + other stuff
We can trade Love for Gay Or trade Love+4+other stuff for Melo
Too many options.

I assume this would be for a 6 yr max deal?
Any chance CB would want this? I've got a mental image of a presser where CB gets on the mic and says "I've always dreamed of pairing with darko to form a premier frontcourt".

Not holding my breath.
Though a DMC/Bosh frontcourt would be crazy awesome, though I'm not sure we could get Bosh w/o the 4 involved.

He's a free agent. If we were to get him, the 4 wouldn't be ivolved.

Disagree.
1) Bosh has to agree to the trade
2) Bosh prefers a sign and trade because a) he gets more money and b) he feels like he'll be doing the Raptors a solid by giving them some consolation
3) Jefferson + cap space > Lee + cap space or Bynum + Vujacic. Who is going to provide a better offer than Jefferson? Jefferson gives them that low post presence they need to stretch the floor for all their shooters.
