I figured there would be a lot of these coming up, o might as well keep them all in one place.
Here is a template for an idea --
MN OUT: Al Jefferson, Ellington
MN IN: Rights to Paul George, Eric Dampier (unguaraneed)
DAL OUT: Eric Damper, Rodrigue Beaubois
DAL IN: Al Jefferson
IND IN: Beaubois, Ellington
IND OUT: Rights to George

I was told 100 he is gone. That has not changed.
Personally, I would keep him and rebuild the value. Give him a chance to prove his knee is fine and see if he can improve next to good players. This does not seem to be the opinion of the front office.
A couple months ago the idea was that Al could be part of a S/t. Anyone we would want there?

I know you can't give too much info but is he 100 gone before the season or at the deadline?

I posted this already but here's my idea.
Wolves Get:
SG-Rip Hamilton
PF-Chris Wilcox
2011 First Round Pick
Pistons Get:
PF-Al Jefferson
SF-Corey Brewer
Been talking about this over on the Pistons board as well and some of their fans said that they would be more in faver of just a Big Al for Rip and draft pick swap.Which is even a better trade idea then mine.

I don't think Kahn knows that yet.

A couple of quick ones...
with OKC:
Jefferson for Harden + Collison + rights to Pleiss, or maybe Harden + Krstic + rights to Pleiss
We get a very nice all around SG prospect, a euro stash, and eliminate some long term salary. OKC gets the final piece in a serious post scorer/rebounder.
with Spurs:
Jefferson + Ellington + Hollins for Splitter + James Anderson + Richard Jefferson.
We get a touted center in Splitter and upgrade our SG spot while dropping Hollins and eliminating long term salary. The Spurs get a serious big to put next to Duncan.
Not sure if I do these, especially the Spurs trade, since we're getting yet another SF. I like the OKC deal a bit better.

I have a feeling OKC wants no part of Jefferson. He'd be too much of an impact on their chemistry.
The Spurs deal is interesting. It doesn't get us a shooting guard we like -- obviously they weren't too high on Anderson -- and I'm not sure what to do with Darko/Pekovic/Splitter -- although Splitter would certainly be an upgrade. Would we buy out Richard Jefferson?

I'd do both but I'm not sure if the other teams would.

I was never given a window/time. I would guess after the first FA wave when some of those teams with a ton of cap banking on Bosh/Amare do not get them and scramble for a post. Chicago anyone?

Yes he's the 2000's version of Reggie Miller

SG-JR Smith
PF-Kenyon Martin
2011 First Round Pick
Nuggest Get:
PF-Al Jefferson
SF-Corey Brewer
C-Ryan Hollins

We're going to regret trading Al if it isn't for a player who can create his own shot..Al is one of the only people on our team who can make offense happen without a play being designed.
Yeah, his foul drawing is low and he still can't pass(out of double teams is the most important), but he has a beautiful post game, has a knack for getting rebounds and on occasion will give you 2 or 3 blocks and we just need a center(Many like Darko) who can cover up for some of Al's defensive incapabilities.
The part of Al that has me most excited is that he's working with Hakeem Olajuwon; Kobe Bryant worked with him last summer on Keem's ranch and Kobe's footwork is even more phenomenal than it was before. Hopefully Hakeem can teach Al how to draw fouls and pass out of a double.(That's if Al iw still on the Wolves)

I agree, I'd really like to see how Al fits with the new wings before we trade him.

This team should be like what McHale wanted around Jefferson, but with better defense and probably better point guards. Should be interesting to see if we do end up keeping Jefferson into the season.

Yea it pisses me off. We finally got the shooters around the guy we wanted and now we are shipping him out. I wish we could at least give him a chance and then ship him at the deadline. FMFranchise!

I like keeping Al as well. If we ever get to the playoffs we would get destroyed without an inside guy. Maybe we're expecting Pekovic to play that role?

I'd rather just keep Al and Darko can stay home.
