Did Kahn or Rambis say Webster would be starting? If Flynn continues to start I would think Brewer would also start and Webster would be the scoring punch off the bench. If Sessions starts at pg it would make more sense to start Webster.

One thing I like better about that lineup is the defense is improved. Flynn and Al are still weak defenders though. Hopefully, they can step it up this year.

What's the status of Belly? Is he coming this year or is it still up in the air?

Kahn implied he would like Martell to start (get 30+ minutes), but said it was up to Rambis.

My hunch is that Samb would be on the depth chart before Stiemsma

Thanks. I haven't listened to any of the post draft interviews yet.

I still think Sessions/Webster or Flynn/Brewer should be the starting backcourt (with current roster).

I think it'll work out something like this.

PG Flynn 30 mins Sessions 18 mins
SG Webster 16 mins Brewer 24 mins Ellington/Sessions 8 mins
SF Johnson 32 mins Webster 16 mins Hayward random minutes when he plays
PF Jefferson 22 mins Love 26 mins Johnson will get some random smallball mins
C Millic 28 mins Jefferson 12 mins Hollins/Pekovic 8 mins although this goes up if Pekovic is here

Here's how I would go with the roster as is.

C-Darko/Pekovic/Hollins
PF-Jefferson/Love/Bjelica
SF-Johnson/Brewer/Hayward
SG-Webster/Ellington
PF-Flynn/Sessions

I think idealy Corey Brewer is and could be a great six man off the bench. If he's still on the team after our trade or trades and what have you that's were I would like him.

As long as you keep realistic expectations it won't get worse. Jefferson probably won't return an All Star SG or really any guy that could give you the equivalent of 20-10 at their position but they'll get a decent deal for him.

seems like we are shoping Al over Klove. I don't understand this.

I'd actually give defence to Al. He's not a great man defender but he's shown he can at least block shots unlike Love.

Just want to give you my opinion on what Webster's role should be to bring the most out of him. He's a player that will more likely play well if given minutes as a starter than if you bench him. I'm not exactly sure what it is but it seems like he can lose his confidence fairly easily but when he's playing well you'll love him for his shot and hustle on defense.

One question, has he made any public statements since being traded? I'd like to see what he has to say about it.

I like that line up better than last years already. I can clearly see at least three players that can hit a 3.

John Salmons is the same way. If that's true then I think Webster has some upside that I think is being overlooked by the casual observer.
