i guess the wolves only hope is they land a S/T with jefferson in it and get deng or iggy, but i dont wanna just give jefferson for a bag of chips, signing darko and pekovic is nice but it isnt something that makes me overly excited, i still think we need add a sf/sg (i know we got W johnson) if kahn thinks were ganna win 30 35 games , this cant be the roster hes expecting

I think the point is to compare the value of the deals. You can argue drew gooden getting paid more than Darko, but Amir Johnson............. whhhaaatttt. Dude's got some talent, but has done next to nothing so far... Am I wrong...

Two things:

Al Jefferson's trade value keeps going up.

Martell Webster trade looks better today then it did yesterday.

There are a ton of people bashing us for signing Darko but look at the rest of the dang league!! Just because this will be his 4th chance doesn't mean he was given a "fair" chance everywhere else he went.

Amir Johnson is 23 years old which is 2 years younger than darko. Johnson just didn't have a lot of playing time playing behind Bosh.

GTFO ? I would spit on all Al Jefferson for Loual Deng trade. He's and over priced injurypron SF that doesn't fit on out team.

As far as the moves the Wolves have made in Pek and Darko I think their soild and should hopefully sure up are Center spot on the team for the next three or four year.Only problem I have with the two signings are I think Darko is a little over payed and who due these two fit into the "Run and Gun aka Suns 2.0" team that Kahn keeps talking about ?

I wonder how interested New Jersey would be in a Jefferson-Favors trade.

1. With the recent FA signings, Jefferson's deal is starting to look like a steal (especially compared to the deals that guys like Stoudemire, Boozer, and Lee are likely to get).

2. Phokorov (Nets' owner) and Avery Johnson (Nets' Coach) both want to win sooner rather than later, and Jefferson helps that goal much more than Favors.

3. Supposedly Rod Thorn (former Nets' GM) was the guy who most wanted Nets. I've heard rumors that Phokorov liked Wes Johnson and Avery Johnson like Cousins.

Your point? Our capspace was never going to go to LeBron, Wade, or Bosh. Sign Milicic, and Pekovic and then use the remaining space to have for a sign and trade possibly.

Channing Frye just got $30M/5

Wouldn't yo max out Amare before giving Frye that kind of money?? ANother horrible deal.

Kahn looks like a genius for getting his guys signed early.
