Expectations for Beasley

im thinking something along the lines of 18 points 9 rebounds and 2 assists. i dont think thats out of the realm of possibility at all
1. he wont be stuck behind Wade anymore. i believe he was behind Jermaine Oneil as well.
2. when Al is traded he is gonna be the only go to guy on our roster. He should be our #1 option sometime this season if not right away in my opinion at least.
3. A change of scenery should do him well. we are a perfect situation for him.
what are your expectations for BEASTley?

It all depends on how much PT he gets and all of that. He could be coming off the bench for 20 minutes a game.

I have to make an assumption that if management feels good about Beasley's fit heading into the regular season, he will get a solid 30 minutes a game ... 16 pts - 9 rbs - 4 assists. We certainly do not want him merely forcing offense, but more so, a catalyst for ball movement and an inspired improvement on the defensive end.
Rambis Triangle philosphy is not head strong on specific positions ... Beasley is a skilled forward and he will have the opportunity to log minutes regardless SF or PF. Can Beasley be a leader ... and will he choose to?

19 and 6-7 rebounds on good percentages, and I think he should be improved on defense(he made strides last year), I think being the man potentially should help him a lot.

I just hope that he improves period. He needs to take advantage of this opportunity and make people remember why he was the 2nd pick. Also hope he's happy to be here and considers signing a new contract here if he pans out.

if hes not happy here at first i think being around flynn johnson Webster Brewer and the coaching staff will really grow on him. also the fact that he should be our #1 once Al gets traded

i really dont see his first 2 seasons as a dissapointment. 3rd option on offence, behind one of the highest useage players and still put up 14 per game. Hes a very skilled forward, coming into an offence that will maximize his skills, and a coaching staff, and team, that will get the most out of him. I see him putting up good numbers offensively, and improving his defence a lot this season too. He'll get his looks, but having someone whos a legitimate threat offensively to create their own shot (Al jeff can, but theres also no danger of him passing the ball...) will open up the floor for other players as well. Love will be able to pop out for some 3s off Beasley's drives, and he'll take some preseure off wes as a rookie.
A great pick up, i see him averaging 18, 7 and 2.5 this year, shooting improved % and really opening up the offence for the rest of the team

He went through a classic sophomore slump last year, due to a lot of things. I expect significant improvement this year. If we don't see it, we're looking at wasted talent most likely.

If I set my expectation as low as say, Demitrius Underwood, there is no way I can get disappointed right?
RIGHT?

Assuming he gets 30 minutes, and he isn't stoned for all of them. 23 and 8

I really really hope you guys give him a chance. Tell him on day 1 "you're our #1 guy and we want you to lead this franchise" and get his confidence up. His mental state must be terrible being traded for a 2nd round pick.
I just really really hope he succeeds and puts it all together. I'm thinking 19/8 on 47% FG if he gets the green light

That's nothing compared top the fact Wade/Bosh/LeBum say they want to WIN ... so management has to dump Beasley for peanuts to get another player in who can help them. What's that telling you?

That he's 21 and the Heat are looking for veteran help just like Boston was when they traded away Al Jefferson to get a win now team.
It's actually a compliment to Beasley. Beasley is too talented to keep. He's young and needs the ball in his hands. He needs to score 18-20 points. The Heat don't need that with Wade/Bron/Bosh. They need role players.

21 ... whoopie! Just saying a #2 pick being traded so your team can win has to be tough
