Kahn's Only Halfway Done?

There's been a lot of movement so far, but what could be left?
1. Sessions needs to be moved
2. Kahn said he'd try to send Koufos someplace he'd get more playing time
2. Kahn said "Pekovic hopefully still coming" - perhaps we trade the rights
Now that's 2-3 more possible moves, but considering the small size of these deals, it seems hard to think that this is "only about halfway through this exercise."
What else could be on the table? Get offers for the new cap space?

Does he state he's halfway done in the summer or maybe this process isn't complete until the trade deadline is over?

Something to do with the cap space is what I'm thinking.

maybe package Sessions, Koufos, one/both of Brewer/Ellington, and some of the TPE for a star SG like Iguodala?

He may just mean that he has completed Step 1: obtain assets and cap space for flexibility
but still has
Step 2: trade cap and/or assets to a team looking to dump their star to rebuild

Yeah, not sure if he means halfway done with moves for the summer or with the rebuilding process in general. It sounds like there will be at least one more move with Sessions heading out and then something happening with Pek, either signing him or trading him.

got to be looking to add a big name, only way moving Jefferson for cap makes sense. I'm excited to hear him say that, I was getting worried they were blowing smoke and really just wanting to save cash

I think he used the words "this offseason"

I'm wrong. He did say summer.
Q: What about the cap flexibility you now have?
Kahn : The flexibility is enormous. Not just now, but as I envision what we do later this summer. We're only about halfway through this exercise. I think we may be able to accomplish these goals without adding too much to our salary structure.
If there's an opportunity for us to acquire another player that helps us, acquire picks, just be really opportunistic... A lot of that goes behind what went into this trade and why we chose to do it this summer.

So if Kahn is still playing "Let's make a deal", what cards is he still holding?
Draft Picks.
----------------
- Owe pick to Clippers (protected)
+ Minnesota 2011 1st pick
+ Memphis 2011 1st pick (protected)
+ Utah 2011 ?? 1st pick
Overseas Player rights.
-----------------
Ricky Rubio
Nemanja Bjelica
Paulo Prestes
Henk Norel
L Mavrokefaldis
Rostered players
------------------
Milicic / Pekovic / Stiemsma / Koufos
Love / Beasley / Hollins
Webster / WJohnson / Hayward
Brewer / Ellington
Flynn / Sessions
Cap space
------------------
$13.4 million in cap space
We know Kahn is trying to move a PG. He has too many big European-type C's. He needs an Athletic big man and a SG that can create a shot. Webster/WJohnson/Brewer over-lap in skill sets - so one of them could easily be moved yet. He says he will NOT take a bad contract to make a deal, but he could pcik up a player that is moved by a team that needs to create Capspace for a different deal.

"regarding future moves" meaning that more will come this off-season but some also at trade deadline, Kahn is always on the phones.

He's a "McHale Guy" so anything can happen, my guess he's involved in an Iggy deal in the near future.

I got to agree, Brewer has been my favorite wolf for a while now. Would hate to see him go.

We all love Brewer and his nice smiles and work ethic, but even with his improvement he's still not a very good player. His defense is seriously overrated in these parts and he still doesn't really provide anything offensively that any replacement player in the league couldn't provide.

I'm not convinced he's starter worthy even with the improvement he showed. Backup 2 possibly, definitely not enough playing time for him at 3, and Beasley should be getting 30 min total playing at the 3 & 4. I don't think he's a good 2 and Ellington I wasn't impressed with, so I can see us moving him for a 2, I hope he can net us Fernandez or Iggy.

Maybes he means hes only half way done with this summer in terms of time from end of season to... the beginning of the season. Not necessarily that hes half way done with his "plan"

The way Kahn said what he did implies that he's going to do a few more moves before the season starts:
moving sessions (and now koufos)
signing ridnour
exploring possible move to get a 2nd or 3rd best player without moving Flynn/Love/Rubio's rights/Darko/and Johnson.
we've done 3 moves so far- (I'm counting the draft as one, Beasley as one, and Al as one) so that means there are about 3 moves left....after moving sessions, koufos, and signing ridnour...that leaves probably one move left (I'm guessing an attempt for consoladation of assets for a bigger impact player)
With Kahn mentioning the cap space flexibility, and looking to make moves that won't cost us much more than where we are basically at, I have to think it's going after an athletic SG using anything but our starters.
For those who don't know our starters
PG - Flynn (And rubio of course)
SG - empty
SF - Johnson
PF - Love
C - Darko
I doubt Beasley gets flipped, but I wouldn't be suprised if he does for someone really good.
