Yeah I have to agree. The Wolves need to make some trades or some sorta adjustments.

We like pancakes too.
We got rid of bad contracts, we brought in young talent and assets. It gives us a foundation to build around Rubio. We become more athletic and have potential.
Now lets just see what happens.

We're actually rebuilding, like legit. No Telfair at starting point, no starting Gomes, no more Sasha. We are going somewhere. Don't hate, appreciate.

Instead of trolling, I would welcome fans of other teams to look at the following threads:
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=1034320viewtopic.php?f=22&t=1035745viewtopic.php?f=22&t=1035811...this one is just brilliant, too:
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=1035970Kahn is trying to remake the Wolves into a running team, like the Suns, but with a greater emphasis on defense. Look at it through that prism and you'll see a method to what seems like madness. Never forget that Jefferson, while talented, has never played on a winning team. As a fan it's easier to accept a rebuild when the pieces you're giving up aren't particularly accomplished.

We are rebuilding for the 3rd time since the KG trade. All our plans to be a contending team by 2013 have been pushed back to 2017.

Kahn has been in charge for a year. Give it a break already. When you are crawling up from the bottom in a small market, immediate changes can be made but they are not sustainable. Kahn has repeated regularly this process will take time, about 3 years.
When making changes they aren't necessarily to get the player you want, it may be to free up cap space, acquire a better player, obtain assets, shed bad contracts, etc. Kahn has made a number of changes this off-season, he says he is about half over. I expect him to now start assembling players to complete an roster.

Kahn is rebuilding for the first time. That's what we hired him for because McHale couldn't get the job done.

What am I lying? This is like our third rebuild. How many teams rebuild and become contenders in less than 5 years? We got a long road and unless we land a true superstar in the draft I HIGHLY doubt we will be contending in 3 seasons. Our roster isn't even set. Rebuilding takes a very long time. If we are contending by 2013 I will praise Khan's name from here to the moon. I doubt that's going to happen though unless Khan is just some GM genius or we get incredibly lucky.

What are you considering rebuilds? Kahn surely appears to be in his first rebuild process. I think that is all everyone is saying.

When Kahn took over he said 18 months. Now after 14 months he's saying it's gonna be another 2-3 years.

I don't think he said we would be contending in 18 months. I think he said we would have reshaped the roster in 18 months.

True. This is just continuation of the rebuild that Kahn started when he arrived. He's upgraded every position, starter and backup, on the squad (except starting PF, debatably), and he's finally transformed the roster to fit his and Rambis's vision.
If he decides in a season or two that he suddenly wants to play halfcourt slow-down ball (or some other damn thing) and churns the roster again, I'll agree.
