At the very least it seems like the Wolves should be able to get more than West's expiring, if they do move him at all. Seems to me he fits for a rebuilding team.

I was thinking maybe with the possibility of Pek not coming over (not sure whats going on with that) maybe the Wolves actually do have plenty of backup 4-5 minutes for Koufos. He didn't have that in Utah so maybe he and his agent would actually want to stick around. Just a thought.

I watched him in the european junior championship in 2007 and he looked like the next great european center, he was the clear best player and MVP in a tournament where also played Rubio or Macvan among others, incredible talent. I don't know WTH happened to him in OSU, if it's just that he bulked up too quickly or what, but when he arrived to Utah looked like a complete different player, maybe he just needs some confidence to return to the right path

That article was in his hometown newspaper. Of course they are going to say positive things. Unfortunately KK has not improved in 3 years. Even his coach at Ohio State didn't want to give him any minutes. Typically players are who they are by their 3rd year in the League. Too bad Kahn hasn't learned that yet.

Utah is typically not the place to get alot of playing time as a rookie ... outside of that he needs to walk the walk, I guess.

I'm actually a big Ohio State/Big Ten fan so it pains me to say it but Koufas isn't that good and to this point has not been a hard worker to improve. That is why he got so few minutes in Utah. Sloan has a bad rep for not playing young players but he did give minutes to Kirilenko, Miles, Brewer, DWill, Mathews, Millsap, etc because they actually worked hard in practice. The Buckeyes didn't even make the NCAA tourney the KK season although it wasn't his fault since he got so few minutes. I wonder if he would've been much more prepared for the NBA if he stayed an extra 2 years like Turner and learned some good work habits in college.
