He looked stiff. I don't think he's an NBA player.

It looked to me like he didn't wanna get involved on the offensive side of things at all but maybe that's because the guards never got him involved. But nobody can deny how good his defense especially his shot blocking was.

Re: Greg Stiemsma
I would like him as a back of the bench guy that specializes in post defense. I would at least invite him to camp.

Agreed. And his name sounds a little European.

I honestly think that his defense would be a valuable tool to the team whether in practice or just a few minutes in a game. Honestly he is probably the second best post defender on the team behind Darko. I say invite him to camp and see what happens. We never signed him because we needed a scorer.

Best player on the floor whenever he was the first to walk into the arena.

Or last to exit it.

More value as an unguaranteed contract than as a player, if we were to spend all our cap space.
Still, at that price, I think he can help some team.

Guess he might get an invitation to training camp and after that we know whether he becomes the 15th man on our roster or should look out for a D-League team.

We have to have at least thirteen guys on the roster according to league rules, assuming sessions and kosta are gone, he's it.

He already has a non-guaranteed deal for this upcoming season. When NBA teams sign a guy from the D-League at the end of a season, they always give a non-guaranteed deal for the next season so they can keep the player's rights for summer league.

Before we got Lebron, Bosh & Wade, Stiemsma was one of those I guys I wanted us to get. I watched him face Demarcus Cousins in Summer League play & he got under the skin of Cousins drawing 2 fouls & at halftime, Cousins was mouthing off with him. I like this pickup for you guys, he's a great role player and good free throw shooter for a Center.
