Thanks for the update Klomp. I was wondering when they were going to do that. I was expecting it to be done at the end of July early August. Oh well.

any news on the alternative jerseys? are they certainly coming or was is pure speculation?

I think most of us agree with that.

I'm looking forward to seeing these. I would love it if they did something similar to funkatron's mock up but I'll be happy if they just simplified the current design. too much going on with the current ones.

Funkatron did a mock up? Can someone throw the link up? I'd love to see it.

Hopefully they'll just simplify it. I don't mind the trees, just not on the current jersey. I think the weird arrow will definitely go.

Social media platforms don't wear clothes... Much less uniforms.

I agree with C.lupus, I think many of us are craving something more simplified and classic looking.

Thanks. The announcement of the black alternates kind of took the wind out of my sales though. I was actually putting together a little presentation to submit. The PDFs are hi-res for printing and I happen to work for a printing company. I was about a week away from printing them before the announcement.

Oh well.

Depending on how the real ones look, I may get one. If I feel confident that we will be keeping a player more than two years.

wow funkatron101, that mockup is sick, especially the second link. i'm especially liking the bball short design.

I really wanted a jersey that's sleek, modern, and just raises the bar. I loved the 2009 All-Star Game uniforms that the East wore. I wanted an alternate that looked similar to that, and funks jersey is pretty much everything I could have hoped for.

It would be nice if we could order Funk's jersey.

Kudos again Funk. I like to think that other teams guards would wet themselves if they drove the lane on Darko and Pek in those bad boys.

I'm guessing you went through some sort of Graphic Design program if you work for a printing company. Is that true?

It's a shame that Utah is switching to green. That probably means MN won't incorporate it much.

Just self taught. My background is website development, but I never went to school for any of this. I've dabbled into logo design on the side.

I haven't seen the official jersey release for the Jazz, just video game mocks. But isn't the rule that they can't introduce alternates for 1 to 2 years after introducing new jerseys? So I don't expect green alternates for the Jazz this year.

Either way, with the news of the black alternates, we can kiss the green idea goodbye for quite a few years.
