MIN - OKC

OK, its a slow time of year, so I thought I'd make a trade to get some discussion
MIN GETS: Harden + Ibaka + $1.8 mil cap space
OKC GETS: Love + Corey Brewer
WHY FOR OKC? Love is the best of the bunch and fills their biggest hole perfectly. He and Brewer are still young, but more experienced for a team with surprising play-off success.
Krstic/Aldrich/Collison
K.Love/J.Green/Collison
Durant/J.Green/Thabo
C.Brewer/Thabo/Cook
Westbrook/Maynor
WHY FOR MIN? Both Harden and Ibaka are high-upside young players, so we have two bites at a star rather than just one with Love. Harden and Ibaka are on their rookie deals until 2013. Brewer gets paid in 2011, and Love 2012. Moving Love gets minutes for Beasley, but makes OKC more dangerous.
Darko/Pekovic/Koufos
Beasley/Ibaka
Wes Johnson/Webster/L.Haward
Harden/Webster/Ellington
Flynn/Ridnour/Telfair **Rubio

I don't know. Ibaka is supposed to be the next Shawn Kemp, but with defense, Wolves would have to add Rubio obviously

I'd rather wait to see how Beasley performs this year, but it's very, very tempting

The next Shawn Kemp, but with defense, and also without offense. So really, not much like Shawn Kemp.
Adding Rubio would be a joke, by the way.

I mean, he seems average whenever I see him play, but according to many on this board he's going to be fantastic, and if there's one thing RGM does well, it's nail trade value.

this may be your worst trade ever. I know you're all about the money aspect of things, but that doesn't excuse ur misjudgment of talent here.

I wouldn't do this one at all. Ever.

I just want to see the MIN discussion from this, since few MIN fans are weughing in on the Trade Board.

Do it - it has the added advantage of getting rid of the Love superfans.

He's the OKC's version of Nicolas Batum.

Heh, just kidding. The board couldn't survive without you.

I really like Harden AND Ibaka. I don't want to see Brewer leave, or Love really but I think we need that #1 guy and I see Harden becoming Paul Pierce basically. Ibaka with Rubio would be sex.

Huge fan of Harden's. Not a big fan of Love. So in my best 'Ben Stiller being a jerf off" voice: Doo it.

Except Batum has started on 2 playoff teams and has statistics to back up his (albeit probably overstated) hype
