When he was preparing to present his pithy analysis for the world to see on youtube, do you think the guy looked in the mirror and thought, "Yep, this outfit typifies professionalism. I've got a job waiting for me on NBA.TV when they see me!"

It's the less-handsome Sklar brother, without the jokes!

This guy actually speaks pretty well, too bad he is not a great basketball mind by any means.

He really solidified his idiocy when he said Wesley Johnson will average 15-4-4. Dang I sure hope so!

And in actuallity, there would have been a dozen or so European teams who would have pounced on a 20 mil 4 year contract.

Are people going to continue to roast us for not picking Curry? Passing on Jennings falls on the Knicks IMO.

Forgot to mention in initial post that the vid is somewhat old. obviously, it extracted some opinion nevertheless.

I completely disagree with the Cousins talk when Pekovic was a lock for the wolves more or less, making it two at the least solid centers in the rooster. I think Pekovic will surprise many. Hopefully Milicic will too. As some noted, the guy isn't perhaps the most neat basketball analyzer (the dress-code post made me lol - hey, at least the glasses are there!)

This guy seems to believe Darko is a lot worse than Darko actually is... I don't think he's watched a live basketball game in a few years.

He's got the continuous rant thing down pat though. We don't share opinions but he's decent at what he does.

What is it that he does? Get agitated on youtube?

That's a lot of centers for a normal sized rooster, but maybe a giant rooster can hold more centers.

Which ones? Europe is pretty broke right now. And with the exception of young prospects with farm teams, how many European teams give out contracts longer than 3 years?

My emphaisis was on the term "solid", not number of centers. + Minny had a unkown value center in Stiesma & crap in Hollins during draft time if my memory serves me.

As for the above post, I can guarantee you with 99,9% accuaracy that Olympiacos would have offered Milicic a multi-year deal with huge financial aspects. Now it turned out to be Rasho as they realized Milicic signed/was going to singed with Minnesota. Other than that, Real Madrid and Barcelona would have most surely attempted to sign him as well. These clubs are powerhouses that cant go broke. You are correct that the majority of 2nd tier and the rest of clubs in europe have had their budgets reduced significantly in recent 2-3 years (particularly in Russia).

I was joking about your spelling of rooster.

As far as European clubs go, I wouldn't guarantee anything right now. Sure a few of the top 4 or 5 clubs in Europe would have offered Darko, but the money even at the very top isn't how it was a couple summers ago. And it reaches far beyond Russia. Most of the Greek league is broke, Maccabi is paying a lot less than they used to and several Adriatic teams are barely getting by. It's not that the Olympiacos or Barcelona or any of the top 5 or 6 clubs don't have money, but there seems to be a much less competitive market now for the elite players, and you see these teams cutting their budgets because they don't have to overpay.

My other point in that post was that you almost never see a contract longer than 3 years in Europe, unless it's a team trying to lock up a top prospect for a long time and then send him to their cadet club.
