We had one this summer (

Beasley averages 25/8 and leads to wolves to 27 wins.

Brewer earns 30 mpg between SF and SG, and puts up numbers that rival Beasley's. Both will contend for MIP.
Love will be in top 3 in the league in both reb categories
Flynn will be back in early november, and approach 7.0 apg as a consistent starter once again
Biggest bold prediction: NO MAJOR INJURIES!!
*knock* wood

Carmelo Anthony will refuse to sign an extension, denver will be unable to trade him. He will sign a contract with the Knicks while LaLa Vasquez tightly squeezes his testicles under the table.
Love will average more rebounds than points (14/15).
Ryan Hollins will try to dunk on Pekovic in Cleveland. Pekovic will catch him mid-air and snap him in half. The next day he will add another skull to the tattoo on his bicep.
Al Jefferson will have a career year, but it will not translate into wins as Utah wins 40 games and misses the playoffs.
Chris Bosh will suffer a season-ending injury and Miami will struggle in the playoffs, losing to Boston.
Wesley Johnson's hammy injury will linger into 2011, limiting his minutes, but he will beast after the all-star break.
We will all be thanking ourselves by the all-star break that we didn't draft demarcus cousins as he struggles to crack 47% shooting and is consistently in foul trouble to go along with his emotional issues. Pekovic will be just as effective, except insane in a GOOD way.
Michael Beasley will quickly become our go-to player, averaging 23 pts, 7 rebounds, 3 assists along with 1 block and 1 steal.
Darko will quietly average 14,9, and 2 blocks. The wolves will initiate an all-star campaign for Darko called "manna from heaven".
Kahn will be unable to make the big move he covets. Instead we will trade cap space (and possibly Brewer, Koufos, or Telfair) at the deadline for draft picks/young players.
Pekovic and Koufos will go into the nightclub business, opening a discotech downtown.
The wolves will not be the worst team in the west, that honor will go to the warriors.
The wolves will use a late season surge to reach 30 wins. We will not finish out of the bottom 10 (and thus keep our 2011 1st rounder).
The league and union will not reach a new CBA before july 1, leading to one of the worst drafts in recent memory. A new deal will be hammered out by late july and soon after rubio will sign with the timberwolves.

Flynn probably not being able to suit up till November probably will slap this prediction in the face.

Lazar Hayward will earn more playing time then expected, and is quick enough to defend multiple positions.

I guess I never realized how bad the draft was last time there was a work stoppage.
http://www.nbadraft.net/nba_draft_history/1998.htmlA few decent guys, but teams were really lucky that their picks performed as well as they did (9)

Similarly, Wes Johnson will not be 100% opening day. Hayward will get a chunk of Johnson's minutes, and will play so well that Coach doesn't remove him from the rotation.

Nikola Pekovic will be a beast. I have almost no doubt about that. At worst he'll be that type of guy you put in when the opposings best paint defender needs a rest and then go Pek&roll.
I bet the dude will average 12-14 points on 55+ FG% in 22 minutes per game next season. Maybe he won't do it right from the start because he needs to adapt to the NBA but at one point of the season I see him doing that.

Darko is going to flop and and will lose his starting spot before the the end of the season.
Wolves still wont be able to hit a three to save their lives.
We will be the worst team in the league.

Wolwes will win less than 20 games and Pekovic will be renamed as Sasha Pekovic.

Yeah, I hadn't quite thought about the potential impact on the draft. This might be a very good year to overachieve and lose our pick to the Clips.

I don't know that I'd call that "bold."

I'd be kinda shocked if we still can't hit threes.

Beasly 23/8 starting at the 3
Love 15/12 starting at the 4
Darko 15/9/4ast/2blk starting at the 5
Pek will be a beast and have absurd starts per 36 but be limited to 10-15mpg.
Johnson and Flynn will have nagging injuries and be limited until post allstar break.
Fans will be delighted with Ridnour. The FO clearly grabbed him to push tempo so the team would get accustomed to what Rubio will bring the team.
Webster will get injured in the second week of the season after starting out on fire.
Brewer will receive most of the minutes at the 2.
Seasons most exciting lineup will be the rarely seen...
Love\Beasly\Johnson\Brewer\Ridnour
(Jefferson averages 24 12 in utah)

Let's change this thread to "Probable Estimations"
This is how its done.
Wolves win 36 games.
Beasley gets a reserve all star role.
Johnson disappoints, mightily. Plays in less than 60 games. Hayward will look like the better rookie.
Ridnour starts the entire year.
Brewer is traded at the deadline.

The loss of Al Jefferson will cause the Wolves to struggle greatly for the first six weeks of the season, much to the delight of Bill Simmons.
Corey Brewer traded before January 1.
