I didn't see a game thread started yet, so here ya go.

Also, it looks like the game vs. Indy next Tuesday will be on FSN as well.....still no season TV schedule though :-? .

Very interested in Melo vs. Beasley...hopefully Melo plays more than spot minutes.

Center Darko Milicic practiced Friday with some tape stripped across his shoulder. He left Wednesday's game in pain during the final minutes. "I think he just got kneed in the back," Rambis said, "but I think he's fine."

I wonder if Corey Brewer will get the starting SG nod...his numbers vs Denver last year in 4 games were:

21 pts
7.5 rebs
523% FGs

Or maybe Coach Rambis will give Webster a start this game?

Don't quote me on this, but I believe it was Brewer who said that his favorite player to guard was Carmelo Anthony. It doesn't make a huge difference, but I bet he's looking forward to it.

I couldn't watch the first two euro games, so I'm pumped for this one. Hopefully there's some decent pie for the game.

I kind of like Webster as the 6th man. He is able to get roughly 30 minutes and go against the 2nd line. He is a go-to guy in this scenario. This could work to rotate off Beasley. Let Beasley and Wes/Corey start. Allowing Beasley to be the go-to guy and the other wing to spot up and work off him. Then bring Webster in as a go-to 6th man.

As long as he is getting roughly 30 minutes and at least 10-15 shots I will be happy. The kid is talented.

I really hope this is what ends up happening. I'll also be at the game!

I think then the 4th wing can be a role playing wing. This is the problem with Brewer because he should be a 3rd wing in the 20-25 minute role. Where as with Beasley/Johnson/Webster we will have a limited role for the 4th wing and that might be better suited for Lazar and WaynO. (until Belly gets here and can play the 3/4)

+1, if Brewer and Wes are coming off the bench, we have nobody that can create offense from the perimeter on the 2nd team

Second unit is just a matter of giving it to Pek and spotting up.

Brew starting again tonight.

Is a 2nd unit with PeK, Stringer, and Snipes better than 1st unit?

Ah well, I'll probably have the gamecast on at least.
