“You know, I have that **** in me, I just didn’t have a chance to use it,” he said. “I used to be offensive, I used to be a three-point shooter. So for me, I’ve just got to switch the flip and have that offensive mind-set.

im happy we finally got a big defensive center, i dont want him even thinking about three pointers

don't be soft man let him bloom.
If he's a good shooter I don't see why taking a couple (i.e. 1 or 2) 3's per game could hurt? Kloves going to be doing it and as long as the other of them is going to crash the boards it should be fine.

Here's one thing Darko used to be able to do that we should be looking forward to:

Boom. Sadly he's gotten way bulkier since those days.

I think with a different coach than Larry Brown Darko would have been more of a perimeter player.

Look we are already throwing caution to the wind by taking a chance on Darko, lets see what his ceiling is. Lets run with this

if you had seen him when he was younger i think you would change your mind. he was every bit worthy of that #2 selection. i've seen him drill 3 pointer after 3 pointer. pick and pops. there were several coaches that talked about his 3 point shooting ability. darko is very unselfish he will only shoot 3's if he's wide open. but him exploring his outside shot will definitely open up the offense more and help with passing lanes.
