What's most likely to happen (BUMPED)

I left out Martell Webster for 6th man just because we don't know if he'll come off the bench all season, and I didn't want Webster fans to split their vote.
I'm mixed between voting for Pekovic and Johnson, so I'm not going to vote just yet.

No Al = more rebounds for Love.

Agreed. I actually think Love is the favorite this season to lead the league in rebounding.
With no basis whatsoever, I'll guess the probabilities to be:
Love 70%
Wes Johnson 60% chance (5 slots, and he's pretty developed. Bad to play in MN tho)
Pekovic 30% (His name, the team, and his draft position makes him more unknown)
Webster MIP 20% (too many choices in more glamorous cities with wins)

I'm reluctantly choosing Johnson for now. Even though Udoh is injured until January, Pekovic still has competition with Favors, Cousins, Griffin, and Monroe.
Wall, Cousins, and Griffin are probably going to make the first team, so that means he has to worry about Turner, Favors, and maybe even Monroe. Fortunately for us, Favors has decent competition with Murphy and Lopez. Lets just hope some superstar doesn't emerge from the second round.

Johnson on the first team seems like a sure bet. Love being the rebounding leader does too.
Most improved is impossible to predict. Beasley and Milicic could be competition there as well.
Dont' think Pekovic gets enough minutes to make it into rookie sophomore game. There's only 9-10 spots. Cousins will for sure be there. Favors probably too. Then you got Udoh, Monroe, Aldrich, Splitter, and Sanders all potnetially being there as 5's or 4/5's.

I went with Johnson on the rookie team. Unless he really disappoints, he should have a solid rookie season.

I think Johnson has a good shot at getting on the first team. Like an earlier post said Wall, Griffin, and Cousins are pretty much locks to make the 1st team(barring injury). That leaves two spots left and I don't see any other rookies except maybe for Turner to put up better numbers than Johnson, as long as Johnson is getting 25 minutes a night.

Once the season starts, the better players will be back in the lineups and the defenses will pick up ... I'm concerned about our ball-handling. We should be able to stretch the floor, but if we're inconsistent on the inside, I'm not sure we have guys who can go one-on-one and get to the basket without turnovers becoming an issue.

Looks like I was in the minority, but I've got the best chance of winning this poll.

The real move here is KLove for MIP. But not an option, alas.

2/11/25/0 - just in case it changes after the bump

To be fair, the minority was Webster for 6th man.

Can I change my vote now? I'm feeling inferior.

Wow. Only 1/3 thought Love and now he's killing it.

I'll toot my own horn and let everyone know I originally voted for KLove!
