Pacers vs Wolves, Tues., 7 PM (FSN Tape Delay 11 PM?)

Post#1 » by Klomp » Tue Oct 19, 2010 5:05 pm

Timberwolves just completed shootaround at Target Center and my colleague Kent Youngblood reports from there that Martell Webster and Darko Milicic both likely won't play tonight against the Pacers.

Also, Corey Brewer is expected to be back in the starting lineup at shooting guard after Wayne Ellington started there Sunday and Wes Johnson started there Friday in his return to Syracuse.

Webster has a tight back and Milicic a neck and shoulder injury.

Both sound like they're your typical preseason precautionary measures and neither is believed to be serious.

The game should be played live at Target Center though, no tape delay. Come on down.

So I guess Pekovic will start. I hope Koufos is ready to play some minutes.

Tape Delay? The NHL is already effing with my plans and the NBA season hasn't even started yet.

I hope Webster being held out means Wes Snipes and Wayne get some serious burn. And maybe bring in some Lazar in garbage time. No Brewer please.

I'll be at the game. Wolves will be swingin' the ball tonight against the Pacemakers! I expect lots of scoring and assists amongst the wings. The Wolves themselves are aware of recent correlations made between preseason and reg season records; thus I expect some extra effort tonight. Predict:

115-99 Timberwolves

Wes: 18p/4r/4a
Wayne: 18p/4r/4a
SuperCool: 22p/3r/4a
Klove: 14p/16r/4a
Pek: 12p/8r/2a
Radnour: 14p/4r/10a
Brew: will shoot 50% and get at least one monster dunk (finally)
Lazar: something.
Koufos: is he the most efficient player on the team thus far? I swear he's been about 75% scoring, with a rebound every minute or two, for every appearance. Should be a great opportunity for him, as he is probably starting..
Me: 100% effeciency in Summit consumption. Should average 7.5 howls per 36. Definitely (hopefully) finding my way to the lower level by halftime.

Oh well. Tape Delay is much better than no TV at all. Will have to restrain self from checking boxscores so as to not spoil game (will FSN be so kind as to not post score during the hockey game?)

Excited to see lots of Pek and Koufos vs Roy Hibbert and hopefully lots of wes and beasley.

Maybe he wants to keep Pek in his role coming off the bench to get that rhythm. As far as Brewer? I don't know, maybe he feels like he just needs more time to get himself together offensively.

I haven't verified it, but someone told me that Rambis was on during hour 2 of Paul Allen today on KFAN.

Ya, he was on at 10 am Central. I listened as I got ready for work. Nothing worth mentioning really. Basically was just an advert/promotion to get people to attend the game today.

Is there reliable pie to be had? I've had the worst luck so far this year. Yeah its only preseason but I'm sick of burnt pie dammit.

*nm just saw your other post. I'll just watch it on tv at 11.
