Timberwolves team preview on NBA TV

Post#1 » by Calinks » Sat Oct 23, 2010 2:35 am

Man, they need to stop letting Kamla cover us. As soon as it started the guy was talking mess. So far the first 5 minutes are pretty much gently ripping us for trading Big Al. Kamla is begging people to explain the move to him. The co-host can't. I have seen like 5 other team previews and non of them were this negative to start.

Thankfully they let up on us after that intro. I thought it was going to be a 30 minute verbal beating for a while there.

Kamla may be a Wolves fan, but he's such a knob.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Oh on the Jazz one we get a few more jabs thrown at us. I wonder how much Kamla complains about us around the office.

GM's voted Al Jefferson as the best off-season acquisition.

We all knew it would happen.

A lot of fans wanted Prince and a pick, but overall it was pretty split. If you made a proposal involving Koufos + picks, few would have supported it.

LOL exactly. Now he's this huge game changer and a low post God. Before when he did anything significant people would talk about empty stats a on a bad team. Now it's that he is great and in a great system. Dude's stock is going way up and his hasn't played a regular season game yet. As long as he puts up his normal 20+/10 numbers he will have a huge year in the media.

Think so? It's close to a wash for me. expiring < straight cap space, and #8 > two future (mid to late) firsts.

True. I think we had a consensus about what how people's opinion of Jefferson would change as soon as he was off the team.

I'd imagine Prince could be flipped for someone else.
