Quotes from other team forums

Post#1 » by revprodeji » Mon Oct 25, 2010 10:05 pm

**official thread**

last year we had a thread that we would quote things from other team threads about our puppies.

Quote the quote and then link as well.

Does it have to be directly related to the Wolves? I thought last year it was for quotes or threads that were generally interesting or funny as well.

Definitely got to check out the wisdom of the delusional Clipper fan on the trade board.

Some gems from tonights game...

Should have given Ridnour the max imo.

Drew Gooden and Kevin Love are basically the same guy imo.

**** YOU LUKE!!!!!!!!!!

I'm as upset as anyone, believe me. However, Minnesota did not look like a team that will win 20 games. They looked like a 40 win team or so. And guys like Beasley who you don't expect to give you a good effort did.

I'll admit that Ridnour played a good game. He made a couple circus shots. I don't think that he would of won the game for us, if he was still on our side. He never won a game for Milwaukee. Telfair and Brewer are defensive pests. They really balance out the roster. All-in-all, Kahn is improving as a GM.

Timberwolves won because they have a synergy. They seem a lot like the FTD Bucks.

This one's funny because Love was just doing his best Maggette impersonation.

You are absolutely right. For a guy that has averaged around 4 free throw attempts per game for his career, 12 attempts is something else. Of course, being guarded by the one and only Drew Gooden doesn't hurt.

Good game guys. I like the direction of the Wolves. I picked them to finish 10th in the West in our prediction thread, on the Bucks board. Living in Minneapolis, I guess I'm somewhat of a homer.

:D

One of my favorite quotes of the year: viewtopic.php?f=33&t=1064988
jazzfan1971 wrote:I can't quite put my finger on it, but, I've been watching the same Jazz team for 20+ years now and they've always felt like the Jazz. Even when Stockton and Malone left. We still seemed to maintain our identiy. Whether it was Ak and Pilacio or Memo and Boozer it never seemed to make any difference. We were the same team.

Now, I don't really know who we are. We seem like we're lost out there. Sometimes lost and giving 100%. Enough to win some games. But, the cutting and passing machine I've grown so fond of seems broken. It seems like the fundamentals are missing.

I'm starting to wonder if Al Jefferson is fools gold after all.

When we start winning there should be some priceless "OMFG WE LOST TO THE WOLVES??!!" type of comments

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
