LeBron looking to get back at Tolliver over spoof

Sorry if this was already posted somewhere else..
Tolliver spoofed James' "The Decision" special announcing his choice to join the Miami Heat this summer by putting a 68-second version of his own free-agent decision — Minnesota over Golden State — on YouTube.
James has taken notice, deadpanning Friday, "We play Minnesota twice."
The first of those meetings is Tuesday in Miami. James said he hasn't seen the video, but was told about its contents.
http://www.startribune.com/sports/wolve ... nchO7DiUssI used to love LeBron, but what a baby. The spoof was funny. Get over it. I don't like this whole me against the world attitude he has adopted.

It sure sounds like Lebron was joking.

James turned icy and said, "I didn't see it, but I heard about it. We play Minnesota twice."
...
Somebody told James that Tolliver figured James was too important and busy to worry about some video he made.
"Oh, is that what he said?" James said over his shoulder as he walked out of the Heat's locker room. "I'm not worried about it."
When that same somebody said, well, Tolliver meant that James probably was too big and important to care rather than worry, the two-time league Most Valuable Player harummphed and kept walking.
http://www.startribune.com/sports/wolve ... page=2&c=yYou think he's joking? I think the opposite. I think he's taking everything a little too seriously.

Is LeBron gonna have another Nike commercial that attacks another player?
LeBron: Should I stand in front of Stoudemire and get nutted on? (Hey Tolli)

I think it's all harmless. Just something Lebron can use to fire him self up a bit. Hope Tolliver owns him somehow. Would be hilarious if we come away with the end.

I can't even imagine what the media would do if the Timberwolves beat Miami at home. I wonder what the spread on that game will be...

Ugh, columnists trying to make a name by spreading controversy...
I wonder if Zgoda was in person to be able to really describe the icy facial expressions that explain the true meaning behind LeBron's words. Somehow I doubt it.

"That's funny," said Tolliver, who had six points and eight rebounds off the bench. "If a light-hearted video like that gets his attention, so be it. It's not going to make me play any harder than I already do."

I think this is being blown out of proportion. Past superstars like Jordan would probably say the same thing just to give themselves a reason to show up against the wolves. Whatever helps push you. I seriously doubt Lebron is really butt hurt over this and comping at the bit to destroy wolves nation.

1. why are people bringing up nothing to Lebron and trying start conflicts like middle schoolers
2. why is Lebron buying into it like a dumb middle schooler

I think it definitely is probably being blown out of proportion, but LeBron doesn't help matters. Seriously, if I were him I would have thought Tolliver's video was hilarious. I mean... cmon man.
I think that LeBron is trying to do his best MJ impersonation by trying to use anything said about him as motivation, but the difference is that Jordan wasn't so self indulgent. He internalized his motivation. He didn't run specials on ESPN, he didn't run 90-second commercials to show how he doesn't care what people think (so, why did you run this commercial if you don't care, LeBron?), and he didn't act like a little youtube video was the biggest threat to his ego.
I think LeBron is going through a little bit of an identity crisis. He is so used to everyone loving him and now nobody loves him. I don't fault him for going to Miami, I just think he could have gone about it in another way.

On another note...
I would love to see Tolliver stuff LeBron multiple times, but what I would really like to see is LeBron foul out in the first quarter due to 6 charging fouls that Tolliver draws because of LeBron trying to hard to get back at him for "Part Deux."

Even if Lebron James was out to get Minnesota, it wouldn't change my view of him at all (which isn't that high anyway). If Miami does indeed win, it's because they have a better team. It has nothing to do with Tolliver's actions.
Not that it matters, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Lebron James is lying and actually watched the video.

I can just imagine what being the guy who broke the "LeBron is peeved at Anthony Tolliver" story could do for one's career.
I wonder how pissed LeBron is at Steve Carell, Paul Rudd and the Old Spice guy.

Hardy har har. But you do realize that a lot more people have read this guy's story because it involved "Lebron controversy", right? Thats a pretty straight forward concept I think you will agree with me on.
If he wasn't in the locker room to read Lebron's expression and is trying to make it sound more salacious than it actually is then that's pretty crappy journalism.
I know that trying to call things for how they are doesn't make for good gossip, but its better to know the truth then to make a big deal over nothing, right?
