No Baron, No Kaman for the Clips. Ridnour and Ellington will play, but Telfair will start

Sorry, no pregame pics, so I'll provide the vids:

OK, I know its uncool to say anything that isn't gung-ho about Beasley right now, but this is yet another example of when Love is getting attention, and Beasley inserts himself into an interview.

Now I think Beasley is funny and I like his playful attitude, and he was complimentary to Love later, but I'm starting to get a little concerned by this. Maybe he wants to be the star so bad that, even in other people's interviews, he tries to make himself the center of attention?

I think this is interesting. I feel the exact opposite. Of course Beasley is the goofy guy but I love his attitude on the floor. Not to say Love doesn't have a good attitude, but hearing Love in interviews and seeing his cameos in Entourage and commercials as well as his blogging for GQ and such I get the sense that he "loves" being a star. He knew that the youtube video of "the handshake" had over a million views...wtf? He enjoys being in the lime light a bit too much. I just get a self centered sense from Love that I surprisingly don't get from Beasley. I think Beasley just wants to win and play really well. I would be very surprised in Beasley had any idea what youtube material there even was on him. He likes to mess around in a slightly immature way but I think it is fun.
I think Love is a bit too into being an NBA superstar. I think UCLA and Hollywood got to his head a bit. Not to undermine his accomplishments, but he is a second year power foward who has not even been an all star and has already made two cameos on Entourage. I mean Adrian Peterson only has one... Maybe I am the only one who thinks this though.

Spidey sense my ass. Love could smell the herb stench that clings to Beasleys hair.

Shrink, wasn't it obvious that Beasley was going to be this way (LOOK AT ME) from media day?

Yeah, I agree, and it seems to me that he does it at the expense of his teammates too.

I know a #1 guy needs to make the team "his team," but I'm surprised to see Beasley keep butting into Kevin Love's interviews. I think champalift has a good point about Love wanting to be a star as well, and I guess I'm concerned that he's the type of guy that could eventually take offense when Beasley does this.

I am just honored that shrink mentioned me...
I think you are right though, I think Love could get pissed that Beasley may in fact become the face of the franchise. Casual fans appreciate points much more than rebounds.
For our teams sake I hope that these two continue to get along while developing team chemistry. They both have amazing talent and are so young.

Wow, I guess thats not what I see when I watch the videos shrink. I see it more as two best friends than Beasley trying to steal the attention.

I think people going into the season just expected the two to not get along. So now that they have, people are just trying to find a crevice where they can try to get these two to butt heads. Kinda similar to the Love/Rambis "feud" of this year. There's not as much substance as people are trying to make it out to be.

Just out of curiosity, what other interviews has Beasley interrupted? I've always just had the sense that they were becoming best buds on the team.

I've seen several where Beasley was in the background and Love would pull him in. I think after the 31-31 game, Beasley called out during the interview to "just tell them you're a beast." I don't think it's really a concern.

Love piped in with his "it means your going to be traded" jab at Beasley during Beas' interview about his locker. Seems pretty friendly to me so far.

As for the game... No TV? grrrr I finally get a chance to watch them after being out of town for 10 days and they aren't on. Guess I'll have to try baking a pie instead.

So this is the Timberwolves of 2010 vs Timberwolves of 2008? At least kinda? Are Foye, Gomes and Cookie going to play?

Yep, hopefully I can eat pie discreetly during class tonight. This is a game to win, and I want to see the Love/Beasley vs. Griffin matchups.

I agree completely about the possibility of Beasley annoying Love. They both seem to need attention. Beasley with his no pantie short shirt limo exit, I mean bag o' grass in twitter picture attention grabbers and Love has been covered by champalift above. The video reminds me of my dogs. If you give one attention the other runs over.

I'd stay away from the amateur psychology, it's not a problem until it's a problem. Right now it seems like good natured fun.
