If Love and Beas keep this up, they are both deserving - but neither will get in. And Brewer? Seriously?

I took the liberty of removing the people that had no chance...it's still a looooonggg list no way they get it. Unless the wolves are playing .500 ball by then which hey...could happen

Yeah Brewer is surprising but outside of Love and Beasley he's probably the only other player on the roster suited to an All Star game, not including the injured guys.

I doubt either will make it, but I believe Love would make it over Beasley just based on:
A) He's leading the league in rebounds per game
B) He had a 31/31 game and that may still linger in the minds of coaches during their decision for reserves
C) If he has more big double-double games for us and we keep winning, well then who the hell knows.

Only way Beasley makes it:
A) We head into the break with a winning record
B) Beasley continues to be lights out offensively and closes out games for us night after night.
C) He has at least 10 games worthy of all-star recognition.(Maybe 3 more 40 point games with a W and some nice double-double games)

Even then, the competition in the West is too great for any sure bets.

Love is averaging 19 and 14 and his scoring rate is climbing. That's pretty ridiculous. I think he gets a spot If he's 20 and 14 come all star break and the Wolves are on pace for even 30 wins.

Durant, Melo, Gasol, Dirk, Duncan ... Love?

If Love keeps doing what he's doing and the team isn't tanking, he's in. He's a sui generis player. Nobody like him. He's the One Man Gang. He might be Rodman with a 3-point shot. He's like sliced bread, but better! He's like the pony at the perfect birthday party for your kid. He's going to the All-Star Game.

These are my final 10. Remember that there will be a strong LA representation. That could both help and hurt Love.

Anthony, Carmelo, Denver
Ariza, Trevor, New Orleans
Artest, Ron, L.A. Lakers
Beasley, Michael, Minnesota
Duncan, Tim, San Antonio
Durant, Kevin, Oklahoma City
Gasol, Pau, L.A. Lakers
Griffin, Blake, L.A. Clippers
Love, Kevin, Minnesota
Nowitzki, Dirk, Dallas

Even if they continue their great form right up until all-star weekend, I could see both being over-looked unless we're nearing the .500 mark. If one of them make it, and it will definitely only be one, I think it will be Love for the same reasons already mentioned. I'll pile up the votes for both though.

Pretty hilarious that Brewer is on the ballot, but Milsap isnt. Dont get me wrong, I like Brewer, but he's a bench player

Brewer always sneaks his butt on there somehow.

That list is pretty messed up. I do like how the NBA rigged it so that Yao is the only good Center worth voting for. That way Duncan and Pau can still make the starting roster. The downside is this hurts the chances of other worthy forwards making it. Millsap not being on there is sort of laughable.

As for the Brewer thing, I think they try to give most teams 3 guys. Brewer is the best bet I guess since Flynn and Webster are out.

Brewer... I guess someone's got to get the fewest votes.

Hooray for Beast Love!
