Post#1 » by theGreatRC » Fri Nov 19, 2010 8:37 pm

I was looking at some stats yesterday and it disgusted me from what I saw. So basically this season we should checkmark or crossout any Wolves accomplishments we have this season in comparison to last year.

2009-2010 season:
-8 Wins in the Western Conference
-7 Wins in the Eastern Conference
-10 Wins at home
-5 Wins on the road
-5 wins against +.500 teams
-10 Wins against -.500 teams

Month by month breakdown:
-1 Win in October
-1 Win in November
-5 Wins in December
-4 Wins in January
-3 Wins in February
-1 Win in March
-0 Wins in April

2010-2011 Checklist:
- Get more than 8 Wins in the Western Conference
- Get more than 7 Wins in the Eastern Conference
- Get more than 10 Wins at home
- Get more than 5 Wins on the road
- Get more than 5 wins against +.500 teams
- Get more than 10 Wins against -.500 teams

Month by month breakdown:
- More than 1 Win in October [FAILED/1 Win]
- More than 1 Win in November [CHECK]
- More than 5 Wins in December
- More than 4 Wins in January
- More than 3 Wins in February
- More than 1 Win in March
- More than 0 Wins in April

Good work. I was actually looking at some of those same stats the other day as well.

Last year the Wolves had 38 losses before they were officially removed from the running for losingest team of all time, when they won their 10th game on January 29th.---Yet to happen

First winning streak didn't come until Decemeber 26th (Nets, then Wizards)---This year it came on November 12th (Kings, then Knicks)

First win on 2nd night of a back to back came on December 5th against Utah---This year it came on November 10th against Sacramento.

First win against an eventual playoff team came on November 29th against Denver---This year it's TBD (possible candidate is Milwaukee on October 29th)

First win against a team above .500 came against Denver on November 29th---Yet to happen this year

First road win came on November 29th against the Nuggets---This year it came on November 10th against Sacramento.

First road win against a playoff team came November 29th against Denver---Yet to happen this year.

First win by more than 10 points came against Utah on December 14th---This year it came on October 29th against Milwaukee.

Number of winning streaks: 2, 4 games and 2 games---So far, 1, 2 games

Milwaukee was in the playoffs last year too, Horace.

Milwaukee was in the playoffs last year too, Horace.

I'm confused, the Wolves didn't beat Milwaukee last year and it remains to be seen whether or not the Bucks make the playoffs this year (although I think they will, which is why I listed them as the possible candidate).
