Wolves All Stars?

Do you think that Kevin Love will be an All Star?

How about Michael Beasley?

Wesley Johnson will make the Rookie Sophomore game. That's it.

This.

Love's got the best chance out of the Wolves though, by a long way too IMO.

Love has a shot as a replacement forward when somebody gets hurt or wants to skip. But it's still not really likely.

That just means its up to the coaches. We already know none of our guys will get in on the fan vote. After that, its anyones game.

We'll we would have to win some games and not always get screwed by the refs to get some recognition.

Common, I think that Kevin Love has a legit shot. 32 points and 22 rebounds against teams like the Lakers and the Spurs. He also had a 30-30 game... that has to mean something. He is averaging over 18 points and over 14 rebounds.

I understand that Beasley is beyond a long shot, unless he starts putting more 30 point games.

Lol at fan voting. We may never see a Timberwolf in an All-Star game ever again. I wouldn't be shocked if TMAC made it either, that's just how it goes.

Fans rarely vote in players from cellar dwellers, no matter how well they're doing individually. Unless our record drastically improves I can't see Love getting in.

Not true about the Celler Dwellers. Bosh made it over and over. Toronto's team has always been sub par at best. This is coming from a Toronto native. Love has a chance if he keeps up his steller play imo. But yea its a slim chance.

I think Love will be on the team one way or another. He's averaging 19 and 15. That's too ridiculous to ignore. His main competition for the 6th spot might be Blake Griffin -- of the similarly bottom dwelling Clippers.

Jefferson might make it as a center this year too.

Blake has the local factor going for him.......but I guess you could say Love does too.

Well Bosh had the whole country of Canada behind him.

His chances of becoming an All Star this year are indeed slim, though. I'd say between 10 and 20% (just a personal, semi-random guess).

the whole country of Canada? Its not like he's somebody recognizable to them like the 1994 Canadian Dog Sledding Rookie Musher of the Year, he's an NBA basketball player, I doubt more than 1 in every 100,000 Canadians could even tell you who Chris Bosh is.

Toronto is "Canada's team", so yes, the whole country of Canada.

bosh was always a coach's pick

we never voted him in

love won't be voted in either, like most of the all stars that will be in the game, but he'll make it.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
