Oceanary's analyses keep getting better and better: http://www.canishoopus.com/2010/11/30/1 ... ir-parents

It's been said so often over the past six months that we've started giving it the "Yeah, whatever" treatment, but it does bear repeating: this season is a learning season for the Wolves.

That's not to say that the team is going to throw games away in the name of development, or that it's acceptable that its losing games it should be winning. But it is reality. With a team this young that has this many new faces on it, there is a lot that needs to be learned, that's not all basketball.

In many ways, it's more important that this team learns about each other. And that its coach learns who they all are as a family.

He is a good asset for Canis to have.

Better and better at rationalizing. Oceanary sucks.

Three mods in already and I still don't understand why this is a thread or what it is about.

Yeah, I can sum it up in 6 words. Six words that will leave you just as informed as this ridiculous article.

Team chemistry: slow process, but improving.

In other news, the sky is blue, the grass is green, and Darko is a puppy, or something....

Judging from the number of knee-jerk threads on this board so far, I'd say the message isn't as well known as you think.

This doesn't happen often, but I'm in complete agreement.

You have a point there. I was a little bitchy earlier as I hadn't had my coffee yet. Still, I can only take so much corniness and this was a little over the top for me for such a simple message.

I liked the read. I am curious to see how our 2 and 3 will look by the end of the year. Those are the positions that will tell me how we look going forward and what type of growth we had this year (Darko would be a nice piece too, but the 5 was not our big problem last year, our wings were).

Compared to Stop n Pop, it's nice to just have some optimism on that site.

I wouldn't call Stop'n'Pop a pessimist, he's just not a homer.

do they do a podcast? I wouldnt mind listening to sports on my commute, but KFAN is useless, too many commercials and the rest is local weirdos calling in to say something poignant about the Vikings. I wouldn't mind listening to some basketball over-analysis, I read about it on here all day so getting it in audio book form is even better.

I remember there was this one Wolves podcast, I can't remember the guy who started it, but he used to post on here. That was pretty good, it was like Wolves-centric Basketball Jones,

I remember that too. Amateur, but not bad.

He's improved but at the start of the season all he ever wrote about was how the FO was full of idiots, Rambis couldn't coach, our team was headed down the toilet, etc. It was just annoying after a while.
