ive always been high on james since his college days.. actually thought him or evans were a lock for minny with the 5th pick in draft couple years ago.. Looks like james is not reaching his full potential in okc... Could we swing a deal for james harden? personally I WOULD LOVE THAT

I think we debated that topic already a few weeks ago. I would take him at the right price but would hesitate to move Love, Beasley or Rubio for him.

Yes.

.....i know okc wont take hym ..

??

Yes they would, especially if the only thing they have to give up is Harden.

harden at the two who can create push wes back to the three rebuild!

Getting Harden (and moving Wes to the 3) would mean either taking away a lot of minutes from Webster, moving Beasley to the 4 (potentially moving Love to the bench in the process), or both. Harden really hasn't shown to be good enough for either of those things to happen. He just isn't worth it.

There's a reason Harden is struggling. He's unathletic, undersized, doesn't have ridiculous handles to compensate and right now his shot isn't falling. He's not a starter at this point.

I'd only want him for cheap and even then he'd be the 4th wing. So there's not much point.

Considering that Harden has sucked it up pretty badly in OKC so far in his career I sure wouldn't trade away Beasley for him.

i see where ur comments are coming from but alot of it has to do with playing time.. he played 42 mins last night and had a soild night other then the shooting percentage

A solid night, but nothing worth selling the bank for. I mean that's like a season high for him and Beasley gets that when he's lazy/high

He's basically Reggie Williams.

You can get a player like Reggie Williams without giving up anything in a trade.

He's what, 20? 21? And he can get to the line. I think he's certainly got some upside to him that Reggie Williams doesn't. Tho, I'd agree he doesnt' have the size or athleticism to be anything too special.

I still dig him too and would love to have him, but no longer wish to trade places w/ Rubio for him. I'd support anything outside of our Love/Wes/Beasley/Rubio quad squad in a deal, but Presti doesn't need a PG, plus he's still in 'my **** dont stink' mode, be tough to deal w/ that guy in a trade for Harden

If they want a lefty wing who moves the ball well they should go get Hobson now that the Bucks cut him. Now that Jonny's healthy, we need a guy with a hip or two that's still all gay and stuff.

his hip sounds REAL gay, like some Bo Jackson gay hip level, says he needs TWO surgeries, poor guy

I don't liek the athleticism of a Rubio/Harden/love/Darko lineup. Like others have said, I liek Beasley's upside over Harden. There's no way I would trade him for him. Plus, Beasley seems to be loving it here and fitting in well. Besides, they have Green and Durant. They need Harden more than they need Beasley.

give Webster a chance. I'm telling you, he's going to be good.

I have to agree with everyone about the upside argument, but whats more is why would we do this strictly from a value standpoint? Beasley and Harden MIGHT be of equal talent (I do not believe they are, advantage Beas) but right now there is no doubt who has more trade value. Even if like you said it has to do with exposure/minutes, Beasley is getting the exposure and minutes to boost his value.

And I know highlight reels often don't tell the tale but this one just showed me that he is an average to very good passer and that Etan Thomas is sick!

Rubio/Harden/Wes/Love/Darko is the worst offensive team in the world AND defensive suck to boot. At least w/ Beasley he has a chance to breakout for 30 and carry the team

I like Harden and I think people are undervaluing him a fair bit, but I wouldn't trade Beasley for him.

I'd be very happy to get him for anything but Love/Beasley/Wes/Rubio/Darko?/our 1st rounder though, and I'd be fine with playing him major minutes at the 2 spot. I'd trade or let go the deep bench guys like Brewer that we don't need.

I wouldn't go so far as to hold off on Darko, he's had like 4 good games in 3 years
