Impressed with Wolves

Post#1 » by LegacyNBA » Thu Dec 9, 2010 11:11 am

Have league pass and broadband this year so been watching Love in action. Friends are huge fans during the Love/Collison/Westbrook era.

And seeing Steph Curry destroy fantasy #'s, just imagine if they picked him instead of Flynn/Rubio. Flynn is pretty good, reminds me of a younger/weaker Stuckey. That team would have so many assists per game with Curry. But I like Rubio coming in because he is just going to facilitate that offense even more than it already is going. Flynn to add in the scoring point guard to mix things up. You won't have to worry about scoring because Beasley is a guy who welcomes as many shots as possible. This guy is going to have a long career because when he gets old, his shot is going to become even more money like KG. Vets become role players and role players have to knock down their corner 3's.

Stephen Curry (everything but low post defense)
SG (Follow current SG trend of defensive minded knock down 3 shooters)
Beas (primary scorer, finisher in late game)
Love (rebounding, assist, 3's, FT's)
Darko (blocks, man defense)

Even though he only had 31 homers for the year in RBI Baseball, he was still like 90% likely to hit a home run every time you batted with him. Ah, El Hermano de Bash

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Proud of the Wolves but only if this core sticks together for 3+ years at least. Or else this year will just leave a bitter lukewarm taste in my mouth. If it's the beginning of something long term though I'm ecstatic.
