WT: Knicks Pursuing Telfair

I don't really have anything to add. We'd have to take back salary. I don't think they'll just dump Randolph.

SO they want Ridnour or Telfair? Please Khan, give them Ridnour

Please take Luke. He has a toxic shot selection and his contract is not pretty...

I am all the way down for moving one of them. Remember that if we trade Luke then Telfair and Gaines could be our rotation if Flynn misses anymore time for the hip. I do like the idea of getting out from under Luke's contract though, not because it is a bad deal, but because hopefully Jonny/Ricky will be 1/2 next year.

Trade Ridnour for Douglas and Randolph. Get the prospect and a young guy that can play defence at the point.

Would Amare be ok with coming off the bench?

Considering they want to replace Douglas with Ridnour/Telfair, I'm guessing he's a real keeper.

Amre and Love on defense together will break the ineptitude barrier.

I just want consistent defence at the point, I don't really care where it comes from.

I'd do a straight Telfair-Douglas swap but NY would probably have to throw in Mason to match. I would actually rather keep Ridnour if it was between Bassy and Luke. Ridnour just needs to be reigned in on his shot selection but he can at least shoot and is a good play maker when he plays under control. Bassy just can't shoot period.

Knicks would get salary space to trade an all-star player ( CP3 or Carmelo Anthony)
And Chandler is not a star. If Carmelo sign with Knicks, Chandler probably goes to the bench.

Chandler would likely go in a Melo deal, or to Memphis in a Mayo deal.

As for Cap Space, NY will likely have around $16 Million this Summer. If Melo has to sign with NY, Chandler will not be here due to his Caphold and would either go in a S&T or have been dealt by the Feb Trade Deadline prior.

And finally, you propose a deal for CapSpace but has NY dealing 2 Expirings, while only saving NY about $1.5 Million.
