...For worst coach in T-Wolves' history.
With the latest loss to the Clippers, Rambis' coaching record with the Wolves is now 21-90 (.190) officially tying Jimmy Rodgers' record from the 91-92 season + part of the 92-93 season.

I actually don't mind Khans job in terms of the players he has gotten and how much he gave up for them.
It is his decision to hire Rambis that is ruining all the other good work he did in putting a decent roster together (when you consider what it was when he got it)

I want Bill to coach, this guy coached his team to a championship and i don't care if it was in the WNBA. Rambis was riding Phil's coattails and now he thinks can copy him and produce results. For some reason LA fans don't seem to hold him in high regard.

I'm not worried about Rambis.

I'm stun that Randy Wittman's record appears to be better...

You guys are like a mob. After every loss you're calling for someone's head. This was the last game of a loooong road trip. Add the fact that we're missing three of our top four front court players and I'm not surprised by the outcome at all.

If you wouldn't mind, I would really love an explanation why. I'm trying really hard to stay patient and positive, and an explanation on why not to be worried about Rambis might help.
IMO, he's made some real head-scratcher decisions in terms of rotations, plays out of time outs, and late game decisions. I know he is learning and is a young coach, but some stuff seems like it should just be elementary.
I beg of you, give me hope!

Did I ever tell you how much I like you?

Yeesh guys... be patient. Just 6 weeks ago after our brutal trip to Florida and Atlanta people were going nuts, too and about two weeks later everything seemed to be fine.

Every team deals with injuries, and they seem to soldier on. The Wolves just use them as a crutch for their ineptitude.
The Clippers didn't have Chris Kaman, and they still pasted the Wolves by 20.

Not to mention the raw talent he had to work with.

We've gone down hill ever since Basti became a GB mod. Coincidence? I think not.

You want an explanation for why you shouldn't overreact to this game like everyone else? End of a long road trip, 3 of the 4 main front court players were missing, young team in that situation, etc.
You want an explanation for why you shouldn't overreact to the season like almost everyone else? Lots of road games and back-to-backs, lots of injuries to important players, young team still learning the system and developing chemistry, etc.

There are a lot of young teams in the NBA, as there have been in the past. How many of those young teams are as bad as the Timberwolves have been the past two years? There is potential on this team, I will not deny that, but every team goes through rough stretches. It should get easier soon because we'll have more home games but let's not pretend there isn't a problem. I have serious doubts about those in charge in our front office.

Wow. First off, I was asking for a reason to not be worried about Rambis. Its not as if my post was full of raving knee jerk hot-headed ranting based on tonight's loss. I sensed that a poster had some confidence in Rambis. Confidence of which I am currently lacking but would love to share in. I think I was pretty polite in my request.
I understand that you may become frustrated with impatience and the previously referenced mob mentality that losing creates here. I don't have a lot of patience for overreactions of that nature myself. So, as long as you're handing out explanations, could I get an explanation for your overreaction to my initial question? And when you're done with that, I would still love a reason to not be worried about Rambis. I'm not looking for a debate, just trying to drum up some hope and positivity for myself, really.
