Guys,
The Wolves are in the midst of a frustrating season. They've had some very difficult loses this year - some where the team just doesn't show up and some where they snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. We all know this is a young team. We know this is a rebuilding team. We know there is a lack of talent at a particularly important position. We also know that this is the RealGM discussion board and not that other one where rubes go to chat.
We try to have civilized conversations here and we try to have fun. We aren't all going to agree on particular players or what moves the FO should make and we don't have to agree. That is what makes for a good discussion. But we CAN all have a good discussion without our emotions getting in the way and calling each other names. We are Timberwolves fans. We are better than that. We've suffered through 20 years of basketball winter and we are due for Spring dammit!
Lets all try to enjoy the games and the discussion and have fun with it. It shouldn't be a negative thing to come to this site and, frankly, it has started to become negative lately. We, the mod team, don't want to start handing out warnings and suspension (we REALLY don't) but we will without hesitation to keep this board from melting down.
Sorry to have to post this during the holiday season but it seems like it was needed.
