Rambis overdid it.

Post#1 » by NewWolvesOrder » Mon Dec 27, 2010 2:26 am

Rambis was forcing Darko to post up all season long. At first, Darko was a willing passer, he was actively kicking out to teammates, they were giving it back to re-post deeper in the paint and so on. But lately Darko turned somewhat into a blackhole with his post moves. He became AlJeff-lite. WTF Darko?

Darko has definitely not been the same player the last 2-3 games. Is he mad at Rambis for making him play injured?

Maybe he's just injured? He seems like the kind of guy that would try and play through injury if it would help the team and considering Pek and Tolliver are out as well, I'd say that's what's happening.

But why is he hogging the ball? Does his injuries make him not pass to his teammates? Doesn't make sense.

i've noticed guys definitely aren't as willing to pass to him now, but no i don't think he has turned into a black hole. he only had 4 shot attempts tonight and 1 was a tip off an offensive rebound. i'm a little dissapointed that he hasn't broadened his offensive game yet and gone with other shots then the over the shoulder jump hook. during that nice offensive explosion from him, he showed how much he had in his package and the versatility he had. i think his confidence flucuates massively day to day.

also, i was very suprised darko wasn't brought in for crunch time defense tonight and i was also very suprised that brewer was in the game offensively on our last few possessions...doesn't matter now because we won but they were very puzzling to me

You must see something I don't.

I thought he was injured again. I remember he was holding his ankle and then didn't come back on.

How does Darko stand out on a team of blackholes? he's still easily the most willing passer

I think the problem with Darko at the moment is that he's trying to prove he's fit and find form offensively by looking to score first. The injury may have been effecting him a little longer than he made out, and he's still not back to his regular minutes. Give him time.

Darko seems still recovering from his injury. I believe it was a wrong decision to put him on court too early. He still seems kind of cautious on the floor. Concerning last nights game he was bad from the first minute to the last. He was not even contesting like early days in the seazon. Even though i am kind of prejudiced on Koufos i believe he defended the post really well yesterday (although he was injured too) but the time he was on the floor the cavs were raining 3 pointers.
