I posted this on our board and I know I am going to get ripped for it, so i decided to post it here for some people who would appreciate it and encourage other Minny fans who might not be happy with the direction of the team, because of winning futility...

From the TNT crew last night:

I have been saying it over and over again. The reason the Suns will never win anything is because they (fans and FO) want nothing but "good guys" on the team. I brought up Ron Artest and the Lakers to prove that we should be more concerned with the on the court than the off the court, unless the off the court stuff is going to keep the player off the court.

I don't care about Michael Beasley smoking a little weed or hanging out at a club for example. Look at the Wolves we are all going to be envious of them in the near future....They have Love, Beasley balling, Millic;took a chance on him and gave him PLAYING TIME instead of expecting him to be better than Wade, Bosh, and Lebron. Now they are looking to take a chance on A Randolph....

Rubio
Flynn (Will get traded)
Brewer(Trade assest)
Love
Beasley (Low BBIQ, Drug user, crazy>so called by people here)
Randolph (see Beasley comments, but sub Drug user with baby, whiner, and Bust)
Milllic (already stated in post)

Add a pick and they will be a up and coming team, sucking like us, but getting better when their avg. age is 22


How did they get in this situation (hate to change the subject)......They realized it was over and traded their BEST player before it was too late............ Btw, KG was/is better than Nash and younger we they finally let KG go...

Appreciate the post. Mike Beasley has been on the up and up the whole time he has been here, but I get what you're saying.

I still think the Timberwolves could use someone who is a little bit meaner, someone more rugged than our team right now. Sometimes I think Pekovic could be that guy, but he has turned out to be pretty even tempered too.

If Pek got meaner I don't think he'd last 5 minutes on the floor before fouling out (though he has been better at that lately)

Question: Does Brewer count as a crazy guy? He looks like he the type of guy that will scare off a chick you meet in the club.

Yeah Pek comes across as a big lovable oaf. He'd be more effective as an intimidator in the post. He doesn't have to be a thug but he's big and strong enough that he should make guys think twice about driving to the hole.

i dunno, i could chuck up some darko vids, i wouldn't wanna **** with him, pek has ruthless size but i think he is a gentle giant, he ain't got no agro in him.

Nice post. From an outsiders perspective I think you pretty much nailed it.

You can't have an all nice guy team. You do need some ruggedness on the team to mix it up w/ the other team. I think most T Wolves fans know what your team is going through right now. I was upset for you guys when Amare left because I knew it'd put you guys in this predicament. Nash is kinda stuck at the point where you'll make the playoffs with him but he doesn't have enough around him to advance farin the playoffs. We did the same w/ KG basically every year except the WCF year. You might be getting ripped for your take but I don't think your too far off. People don't like to hear stuff like that about their team I guess
